*During School (The Same Day)* *Cheryl's Perspective*

I sat in the lounge, tapping one of the chairs arms with my nail. I couldn't get over how those serpent scum just waltzed into this school like they owned it. Especially that serpent with the pink hair. She's going to be trouble... I thought to myself, getting up after hearing the bell. I headed to the changing rooms to get ready for cheer practice. When low and behold,

She walked in.

*Toni's Perspective* 

I had taken the list of extracurriculars from the desk that the raven hair girl had set up, turns out her name is Veronica and the redheaded boy is Archie. I went over the choices and settled on cheerleading. However I probably would have chosen differently if someone had told me that the redheaded girl was the captain.

I walked into the changing rooms to get ready for tryouts when I turned the corner and saw the redhead changing into her HBIC shirt. "Oh, it's you." She said, "What's queen of the buskers doing in here anyway" she asked, adding to her last statement.

"Cheerleading tryouts." I said, looking at her. I was confused when her eyes widened and she gave me a glare. Then I realized, "Shit, of course your the captain, aren't you." I said, hoping she'd say no.

"Yes I am, so don't be suprised when you don't make the team." She spat, shutting her locker and heading into the gym, leaving me confused and annoyed. The one thing I pick she just had to run didn't she. I thought, opening a locker and starting to get changed. 

Just as I was getting my shirt on Beronica and a blonde walked in together, laughing at a joke they made before stepping inside. "What's so funny?" I asked. They looked at me and then looked at each other and grinned. I stood there trying to figure out why they had those grins on their faces.

"Toni Topaz right? I'm Veronica. The blonde here is Betty." Veronica said shaking my hand with a welcoming smile on her face. "Yeah I'm Toni, nice to meet you. Mind telling me why you grinned at each other?" I asked.

"Your new, which means new friends, that's all." Betty said sounding genuine and wholesome. I nodded and had one last question, "What's the redheads name?" I asked, my hands crossed across my chest.

"That redhead is none other then Cheryl Blossom, aka Cheryl Bombshell. Her brother was murdered by her father and then her father committed suicide." Veronica said. I was shocked, "Well damn..." I muttered. I felt bad for her. 

"And since she's made it clear that she doesn't like you ever since the fiasco from this morning, I don't she'll even consider you to be a vixen." Betty added to Veronica's statement. "Unless..." Betty muttered and looked at Veronica. They both grinned ear to ear, "What the hell are you two thinking?" I asked.

"Oh you'll find out soon enough. Good luck! We're rooting for you Topaz." Veronica yelled as they left the changing rooms to go the gym. Alright then, let's just get this over with.

*In the gym* *Cheryl's Perspective*

Of course she was good, she was great even. I'll never admit it but a part of me wanted her on the team. However I have a reputation to uphold, so when Toni was over I made it look like I wrote something down on my clipboard. Then handed it to one of the vixens next to me and crossed my arms walking out to Toni. "Sorry Topaz, but the answers no." I said flatly.

I heard whispers around me from the vixens. "Why" Someone asked, I turned and saw Betty step out of the crowd. 

"Because Betty, she did a routine that she probably copied and pasted from YouTube that a 5 year old could pick up. I need originality for my squad, and that." I said turning my head back to Toni. "Was far from original." I said.

"Then do what me and Veronica did at our tryout." Betty stated, a grin forming on her face. I was confused, trying to think back to their tryout when I remembered what they were talking about. 

"There is no chance in hell that I am kissing a serpent Betty!" I blurted out facing Betty. Suddenly the vixens started chanting "Kiss, kiss, kiss!" I stared at them for a few seconds with a confused angry look on my face before I sighed and looked at the pink haired serpent. She just shrugged her shoulders. "Alright, fine." I said defeated.

The serpent made her way over to me, putting one of her hands on my cheeks, leaning in. And just as our lips were about to connect she used her hand on my cheek to pull my face away from her. Her head just grazing my ear,she stopped the motion and whispered in my ear, "Oh Cheryl Bombshell. You didn't think it'd be that easy would you?" She teased and finished the motion then walking off.

This left everyone in the gym speechless, including me. I was embarrassed, humiliated. I saw she was headed for the locker rooms and I stormed after her. But when I went in, she was already gone.
