*Cheryl's Perspective* 

I woke up in an unfamiliar room, but as I looked around I saw I was in Jughead's living room. Suddenly I felt a pair of arms squeeze at my waist, I looked down to see Toni, curled up next to me asleep. I smiled at her and poked her nose, "Wake up Toni." I whispered. This only allowed the serpent to groan and hold me tighter, mumbling, "Stay." I giggled, she was so cute I couldn't help it.

"I'm not going anywhere, I just thought you should know what Reggie is flirting with me." I teased, trying to wake her up. "Say what!" She said, shooting up from her position, wide awake. I was laughing when she realized I was teasing her and laid her head on the end of the couch, "You're a real something Blossom." She mumbled. I stopped laughing and smiled at her, leaning over her horizontal body I whispered, "Yeah, but I'm your something."

I got up, stretching my arms over my head. "What do you say we go to Pop's for breakfast?" I ask, she turned her face towards me and smiled, "I'd love that."

*At Pops* 

We both ordered food with milkshakes, casually talking. I was trying to listen but I couldn't help just staring at her, those deep eyes, full of secrets. Toni didn't like to open up, I suspect that the reason she told me what happened that day in the bathroom was because she was already broken. Since then, I've never seen her talk about anything remotely emotional about her life. There was one question that lurked in the back of my mind, that managed to surface while Toni was talking about something.

"What are we?" I asked, not realizing I had said it out loud until I saw her stare at me, face full of food. My eyes widened, and my mouth was covered by my hands. Suddenly she started to grin and chuckled, looking at her burger and then back at me. "We, Cheryl Blossom, are anything you want us to be." She said, taking a bite out of her burger once she finished.

"Then, I-I.." I trailed off before taking a deep breath, "Toni Topaz, will you be my girlfriend?" 

I held my breath for what seemed like hours as she looked at me, putting down her burger and taking a French fry. "Yes." She smiled, biting into the French fry. I jumped up and moved over to her side up the booth and hugged her, while she returned it. When we pulled apart she didn't waste a second and kissed me, not caring what practically everyone was staring at us. When we pulled apart I was blushing madly and she just smiled at me, taking a strand of my hair and moving it behind my ear. I caught her hand with my own and leaned my cheek on the connected pair. Closing my eyes and taking in how soft her hand was, she placed a kiss on my forehead and we continued to eat. Laughing and talking about how we would announce this to the school.

"How about...social media? I can post something subtle that even the idiots at our school can understand." I said, she nodded excitedly. I took my phone out and took a photo of me and Toni leaning against each other in the booth. I put the caption as "Just having breakfast with this cutie 🐍💚🍒" I show Toni who nods in approval and I post it, ignoring the immediate notifications. 

As I helped Toni down the stairs of Pops, grabbing her waist ever so gently making sure not to hurt her. Once she was down the stairs, I looked up and saw Toni's face only inches from mine. Before I could react she landed a kiss on my lips and pulled away, leaving my shocked and blushing. I smiled and we continued into the car, heading to Jugheads trailer.

When we got inside we were immediately met with Betty and Jughead nearly tackling us with questions. Betty had me pinned up against the wall, Jughead doing the same, yet softer do to her injury. I saw her wince a bit at the sudden movement but quickly turn back to her iron structure. "Is it true?! Are you two together?!" Betty yelled at my face. I only grinned and leaned into her face and whispered, "I'm not telling." With that she pushed me farther into the wall which I thought wasn't possible. "Alright Alright! We are!" I shouted making her release my grip and look at Toni mouthing sorry. She only shrugged her shoulders and smiled.

"Finally! Kevin's been shipping you two since the very beginning he's gonna flip!" Betty screamed, whipping out her phone and stepping outside to call Kevin. I rolled my eyes and looked at Jughead, he was talking to Toni about god knows what. I was just staring at the two with my arms crossed trying to listen but they were talking so quietly I couldn't hear. But I went completely soundless when Toni turned her head to look at me, her hair jumping to the side. It all happened in slo motion. 

She then whispered to Jughead one last thing before he went outside with Betty and Toni limped her way over to me with her crutches. I was still frozen, standing there until she whispered, 

"You're drooling Cherry." She laughed, and heading down the hall to her room. Toni Topaz, never would I ever think I'd meet someone like you.
