*At Pop's* *Cheryl's Perspective*

It had been a week since the event that took place during cheer tryouts, however I still found myself enraged at the pink haired serpent who caused the whole scene.

I took a sip out of my strawberry milkshake as I was looking out the window when I heard the faint sound of a roaring motorcycle engine getting louder and louder. Soon enough there was a motorcycle in the parking lot of Pop's and I prayed. Please, anybody but her.

To my demise it was soon revealed that it was indeed the serpent girl who humiliated me in front of the entire cheer squad. I was staring at her, not even realizing she had spotted me looking and gave me a grin. Once I realized we had made eye contact I swiveled my head to my phone.

*Toni's Perspective*

I was out late on my motorcycle trying to clear my head, I had my headphones in listening to songs. I decided to head to Pop's as it was probably the only place open at this time of night. However when I got there I spotted a redhead staring at me through one of the windows, I grinned and placed my helmet on one of the handles and headed inside.

As I stepped inside, taking my earbuds out, I turned my head and saw the redhead sipping a milkshake, back to looking out the window. I went up to her booth, "Hey Bombshell." I said.

"What do you want, serpent." She stated, turning her head and glaring at me.

"You know, you really shouldn't judge people on the fact that their a serpent. If you don't step on us, we've got no reason to bite." I said, taking a seat on the opposite side of the booth.

"Well considering you humiliated me in front of my squad I think it's quite appropriate." She said.

"Yeah? Well you did have it coming." I stated, ordering a chocolate milkshake.

"Oh really, how?" She said with anger in her voice.

"Well for starters, I don't like being called an underachiever. Second, you insulted my dance routine for tryouts. Third, I just thought it'd be fun to let you know who your dealing with." I stated smirking.

She was left in shock as she took a sip of her shake and said, "Alright, fair enough. So why are you even here so late, your like Jughead." She teased.

"Well I was on a ride to clear my head when I decided to come here since it's the only place open." I said. "What's your reason?" I finished.

"Well, My mother has made our house into her sexual playhouse and like you, this is the only place open so I figured it better here then at my house." She said. I was shocked, no wonder she's so mean at school, her life at home is a living hell.

"Damn Cheryl, I'm sorry." I said, not knowing what else to say.

"Don't be, its not your problem, it's mine. Anyway I should get going, thanks for the talk Topaz." She said, getting up and started to walk passed me. Before she could do so I grabbed her arm.

"Do you wanna go for a ride?" I asked not looking at her.

"On your death machine? I'll pass." She hissed.

"It's not that bad, c'mon, it'll be fun." I said, tilting my head up to look at her and giving her a smile.

She sighed before saying, "Alright." Thus heading outside and getting on my motorcycle.

*Cheryl's Perspective*

I grabbed her shoulders as she put on her helmet. I heard her chuckle, leaving me confused. "Whats so funny?" I asked.

"Oh nothing, just that your going to have to hold on tighter then that." She said.

"I'll take my chances." I said. "Suit yourself." She said and started the engine up and slowly pulling out of the lot. As soon as we hit the main road she took off, I immediately wrapped my arms around her waist in fear of falling off this death machine. I then heard her chuckle, "Shut up!" I yelled over the gushing wind.

After a few minutes of silence I noticed we were on a road heading up a mountain. I was amazed at what I saw. You could see all of riverdale so clearly, as well as the stars shining brightly in the sky without a single cloud in sight.

Suddenly we stopped, I realized we were at the top of the mountain so I got off the bike, Toni doing the same. We headed to near the edge of the mountain overlooking riverdale.

"This is what I wanted to show you, from here there is no north side and south side, it's just one town." Toni spoke, wind blowing through her hair while the moonlight hit her face. As I looked at her she took notice and smiled. "What is it Blossom." She asked, a small laugh hinted into the question.

"It's just, beautiful." I said, not finding any other words, turning my head back to the town. She was right, north side or south side, we were all one town. "We should probably head back." Toni said. As soon as she said that a cold gust of wind hit me and shivered. Toni took notice and took of her jacket, placing it around my shoulders.

"Topaz I can't take-" I was cut off when she said, "So it does suit you." I was confused. "What?" I asked.

"Oh nothing, it's just a serpent jacket suits you. Alright come on." She said turning around and starting up her motorcycle.

"Aren't you cold?" I asked, seeing as she only had a flannel on now.

"I'll be fine, c'mon, I'm sure your mom is alseep by now seeing as it's past midnight. So you won't have to deal with her." She said, then I realized that was her plan, to keep me away from my hellhole of a house as long as she could so I wouldn't have to deal with my mom. The question that lingered in my mind was, why?

*Toni's Perspective*

The entire ride to her house was quite, except the occasional direction Cheryl told me to go seeing as I had no clue where her house was. Once we got there she got off she took my jacket off and handed it back to me. I took it and put it back on, preparing to put my helmet back on when I was stopped by Cheryl saying something.

"Thank you, Toni..." It caught me off guard as one, she used my first name. And two, it was the most genuine and heartfelt sentence I had heard come out of her mouth.

"Yeah no problem. Oh! Here." I said, taking out a piece of paper and writing my cell phone number on my phone and handing it to her. She took it and smiled.

"If you ever have trouble with your mom or need something, or even just wanna talk. Just text me." I smiled, putting my helmet on, and starting the engine. I watched her go inside before I took off. Heading to wherever I would stay tonight, seeing as my uncle kicked me out. But at a red light, I couldn't help notice the unfamiliar scent around me. I sniffed my jacket and realized it smelled like Cheryl, and smiled.
