A Walk in the Park

Eggman slapped the bell, Orbot puffed as he rushed over, quickly picking up the order and delivering it. He then went to tend another table as Cubot was filling mugs between clearing tables.

"So, how do you like the place full?" Eggman asked Sonic, getting a small bit of rest near Sonics booth.

"I regret revising my review." Sonic said as he ate. Scratch laughed, sitting in the same booth as Sonic as his was full.

"Regret nothing, hedgehog, Dr. Robotnik will always win." Scratch called, Eggman and Sonic both rolled there eyes and puffed at the badnik.

"Yeah yeah, anyways, Robotnik, how's the lungs?" Sonic teased over.

"A.) Don't you dare you. B.) They are better than ever!" Eggman exclaimed.

"You could say good enough for me to beat you once again?" Sonic said, he laughed.

"You bet you're quills I'm gonna get you, hedgehog!" Eggman called, he started to laugh without difficulty.

"I'll be waiting, you over boiled egg!" Sonic called, he stood in his booth.

Sonic and Eggman, both laughing and Smirking posed at each other, the diner went quiet as the two stood, faced off. In the dead quiet, Orbot smacked in a order, making the diner cringe.

"Order up, you idiots." Orbot hissed, Eggman sighed and walked over to the grill.

"It's not order up you moron the orders not done." Eggman said in return.

"I'm making a bad point, just make the food." Orbot growled back.

"What ever, you should probably go help your hubby with drinks." Eggman hissed.

"I am." Orbot said, he picked up a coffee and started to help.

"See, this is nice, you're getting money, you're robots are active!" Sonic called, Eggman grumbled and continued his cooking.

Eggman laughed powerfully, a manic power in his sounding voice.

"Be prepared, citizens! Eggman's back! And I won't have mercy with this take over!"

"No way, Eggman! We can stop you like always!"

"Can't we go for a simple walk in the park?" Shadow asked Sonic as Sonic started to get in stance to fight Eggman. Venice peeped as he started to feel the energy of the situation from his stroller.

"You're asking these two to do anything 'simple.'" Orbot hissed to Shadow, he adjusted his grip on Octbot, who was also started to get energized.

"Hed my stance!" Eggman called, out of nowhere, a large robot appeared. Orbot facepalmed and buzzed as his fans started.

"Never!" Sonic sprinted at the robot. He spindashed and launched at it, however he only hit it hard enough for it to fall over. It popped right back up, and swung a hand at him. "Ha ha! All you got!"

"Take this!" The large robot started to charge some form of laser.

"This is ridiculous, he knows that this isn't ready yet, and the laser is slow." Orbot hissed.

"What's it for?" Shadow asked.

"Mining fragile ores." Orbot said as the laser finally charged and fired a tiny little stream at Sonic, who dodged easily.

"Ha! Can't catch me!" Sonic called, starting play around as he dodged the slow moving laser, Eggman grew frustrated.

"HEY! NO SUPERVILLAINY OR VIGILANTE-ING DURING THE HOURS FROM 9AM to 5PM IN PUBLIC PARKS!" A local law official called, blowing a whistle sharply at the feuding enemies, Eggman and Sonic looked over suddenly and stopped in their tracks, and quickly muttered out apologies as they went back into normal people mode, the Robot flying away into the sky.

Shadow buried his face in one of his hands. "God; they are idiots."

"Tell me about it." Orbot replied as Sonic and Eggman finished there conversation more or less amicably.

"So why are you here today?" Shadow asked as his husband returned to him.

"Cutting across the park to get to the robot district, the good Doctor needs a certain robot part." Orbot told simply.

"Why is Octbot with you and not Cubot? You never bring him along with business." Sonic asked.

"Cubot blew his head off and we need to find new parts for the idiot, his model is getting old so it's getting hard." Eggman said bluntly as he arrived back to Orbot.

"Well, good luck with that!" Sonic called, he started to walk off impatiently. "C'mon Shadow we have a walk to finish!" Sonic called. Shadow rolled his eyes powerfully, puffed a small bit as he started to push the stroller, and murmured a goodbye, following his blue blur.

"Well, now we have to get going, the store is only open so long." Eggman started to walk off. Orbot started to follow his master, shifting his hold on Octbot.

"Alright, but I wasn't the one who stopped everything to fight a rodent." Orbot snapped to Eggman as he caught up, Eggman puffed a small chuckle.

"Yeah yeah, you should know me by now." Eggman said, giving a firm pat to Orbots head. Orbot looked up at Eggman, and his expression softened a small bit.

"To well, Doctor, to well."
