//Elsewhere later that day//
With the Regalia fixed and back on the road, the four boys made their way to another small town like area. Dropping some things off at the front, the guys waited outside, but before they got too comfy, a bark got their attention. A small black and white dog trotted to them. Recognition flashed over the fours eye's as the prince bent down to greet the familiar k9.
"Umbra!" Noctis began to pet the dog's head as Prompto came up beside him, "Bringing us stuff, atta boy."
"That dog can really track our scent," Gladios commented as he too stared at the said dog. Not missing the opportunity at a pun, Ignis replied, "Certainly 'nose' how to find us."
Prompto, either to distracted or just not caring enough, questioned the small dog, "How do you always find us?"
"Just a sec." The prince took out a red book that was hidden in his coat. Doing his best to conceal the small object from the others He opened it. Writing down what he wanted to say, in doing so he recalled the favor Luna asked of him regarding the book. A small smile made it's way on to his face as he finished his note, but soon disappeared when (Yn) had unexpectedly entered his mind. For some unknown reason guilt filled him, why would such an awful feeling come over him when he thought of you?
Shaking his head to dismiss his troubling thoughts, he closed the book and put it in Umbra's pouch. The dog went on his way as the others watched him leave. The three began to tease the annoyed prince as they made their way to the car.
//Time skip//
Driving for at least 20 to 30 minutes the four had arrived at Galdn Quay. A tourist attraction and resort that was by the bay. Excitement filled them as they parked and got out of the ebony vehicle.
The view was stunning, the tide bringing itself back and forth on the soft sand, the cool breeze that was coming from the south brought humidity and the salty smell of the sea. This place was truly a site to behold, Prompto not wasting the chance, began to take many pictures for his short friend and her companion. They continued to walk towards the boardwalk to the restaurant that resided at the end on the sea in hopes of catching the next boat. In doing so they met a mysterious man who was heading in their direction.
"I'm afraid you're out of luck." He said as he stood before them. His long black and white coat swaying behind him. The man was tall with tan skin, but what stood out most was his long and wavy maroon hair. The others were quiet until Noctis spoke, "Are we?" to which the stranger questioned, "The boats bring you here?"
"What about them?" Prompto asked as the three others kept their distance from this mystery man. "Well, they'll not take you forth." He finished as he turned back around to where he just came from. "And what's your story?" Gladios inquired as he took a step forward. The stranger was clearly annoyed with the current situation but seemed to brush it off as he turned his attention back to the four, walking past them. "I'm an impatient traveler, ready to turn the ship. The ceasefire is getting us nowhere." He then stopped and faced them once more, tossing a coin to the four boys.
Gladios caught the coin allowing the others to examine it. "What's this? Some sort of souvenir?"
Prompto looked at the tiny piece of metal in awe, "They make those?" Making Noctis question, "What? No!"
"Consider this your allowance." The stranger continued making the Gladios question, "Yeah and who's allowing us?"
"A man of no consequence." With that the man left, leaving the others to themselves. Shortly after the stranger left they made their way further inside the restaurant. The smell of fresh seafood and other goodies filled the nostrils of the hungry boys but they were on a mission, so food for the moment had to wait.
