"We have to find Cor," Noctis said. The room remained quiet as all knew and understood what had to be done.
(Yn) looked down at her bandaged hand, her gaze wary. She closed it into a shaking fist before looking up to the four,
"I'm coming too."
Ignis gave her a look of worry, "You must give yourself time to recover before even considering re-entering battle." The mummified girl glanced at him. She knew her current state was not the best, however, she wanted to help regardless of injuries.
"I get that Iggy..... But it is my duty as the shadow of Prince Noctis to be there. And it's not just for him. You all saw the city, I don't want to stay here and watch, I want to fight alongside you for our home, our people, the king, and my father."
Noctis looked to her speechless. His blue eyes never leaving her, "I'm not seeking revenge, I really want to fight to protect. Nifilhiem must be stopped. And if that means having to fight until I completely break then so be it."
The room was quiet, (Yn) looked up to them, her (EC) orbs enamored with passion before realizing her little rant came out a bit longer than she expected. Her face began to turn red when she caught Noctis 's eye. Quickly she cast her to look to the side bringing her hand to slightly cover her eye.
"W-well I um..that's what-what I meant to say was"
Her stuttering was cut off by Gladios's laughter which was soon followed by Prompto's giggles. "Well there you have it, Iggy, she's coming with us." Gladios finally said looking to him. The tall man's eye's widened before they softened at the now blushing girl. A small smile graced his lips as he pushed up his glasses. "Very well, but first let your wounds heal my magic will be able to close most of them, but the process will cause you to feel exhausted after."
(Yn) removed her hand from her face, the blush beginning to fade away. "Thanks, Iggy."
While amongst the laughter Noctis kept his gaze onto the flustered girl. His chest unintentionally fluttered when she finally joined in on their laughter. An ever-growing smile appeared on his face as he allowed himself to bask in the warm presence of his friends, at least that was part of it. For the other reason was unknown to him. What could bring him such momentary serenity in a time of urgency? Perhaps he was just thinking too hard about it.
When they all settled down Ignis began to heal the remaining cuts and scrapes on the pair. After Macko was done (Yn) had realized that she wasn't wearing her uniform rather, a loose fitting plaid robe that was open to reveal bandages which wrapped around the entire top half of her body. Her pants remained, however, the legs were cut to the point where they looked like booty shorts leaving the rest of her bare legs to be mummified. "Um Iggy, where are my clothes?" She asked. The man looked up from rolling up the remaining wraps, "When I had begun to mend your wounds, your uniform had been destroyed. The vast majority of your injuries were located on your chest and abdomen, the rest was Cindys doing." He answered after he placed the last roll in the med kit. (Yn) nodded in understanding, she looked back to her legs. A knock on the door got everyone's attention as they all saw a happy Cindy make her way into the room.
"There y'all are! My, Miss (Yn) you are looking better!" She chirped, then turned her gentle gaze to the grey wolf sitting beside the short girl. "And you too Mister Macko." Cindy bent down to gently pet his head as her smile grew. (Yn) showed a smile of her own towards the young mechanic, but when her nostrils took a new scent in, she was alarmed. Taking another sniff she found that Macko smelled bad, like stale blood, sweat, and God knows what else. She was gonna mention it but soon realized that she too shared the same awful scent. Then it dawned on her if she could smell it.... could the others?
