My feet ghosted upon the forest floor as I flew through between the trees. I could feel them chasing me, the sound of my heartbeat filled my ears, adrenaline pumping like ice in my veins, my instincts screaming at me to do nothing in particular. Fear filled my body like blood. This was the hunt, and I was the prey. I payed no mind to my direction, escaping being the only thing that mattered.
I was vulnerable, I had never felt so mortal.
My animalistic instincts, burried deep down beneath the morals and etiquette associated with humanity, were pulsing through me like a second heartbeat. I was oblivious to all but the goal.
I could not fight, I could not hide. I did not know how much longer I could keep running, I could sense them behind me, rapidly catching up to me.

An animal launched on to my back I flipped over to see the wolf snarling at me. My heart pounded in my chest as I tried to scream but couldnt, my eyes burned with tears as i awaited my impending doom.

A figure appeared above me,Towering over me,It was a woman. An old woman,He wrinkles showing that she had lived a very long time.

"Avianna my dear child"Her voice was a little bit croaky, like anyones would be at her age, although it reminded me of the water streaming over rocks and pebbles before it whooshed off the big drop of the waterfall, so beautiful, but so deadly.
"Oh how I wish your mother and father could see you know!"i shot
Up noticing the wolf had moved beside her.
"you knew my parents?"i gasped and she laughed
"Knew!?! I basicaly raised them!"she gave a throwry laugh"you look jsut like your mother!! But you have your fathers rebeliious side! But that is beside the point I have come to warn you!"

I starred at her blankly waiting for her to continue"Something is coming!and only you can stop it !"And with that she whispered sorry and grabbed a knife and plunging it into my side.

At first  I felt excruciating pain tingling in my side, stinging. I felt the bloody gash on my side spewing out flesh, and my muscles ached in pain. Tears brimmed in my eyes, as I felt my fingers wrap around the murky, crimson blood. "Help," I squeaked, until everything went  black.

I shot up from my bed kicking and screaming.I didn't stop, not when the door opened and someone came rushing in,not when I felt someone lift me and try to calm me  by rocking Me against their chest like I was a small child.I only stopped when my voice was rasp and my legs and arms ached.
"It's ok little wolf I got you"a male voice whispered in my ear.

I raised my red eyes up to meet Kai's piercing blue ones like an ocean wave crashing down.

He lifted me and placed me back on the bed lifting the cover over me.Kai swing around to retreat out the door ",don't leave"I whispered,he stopped dead in his tracks faced me and eyed me with a baffled look.

"Please don't leave me with her!"I said louder.Kai tilted his head and looked around for anyone hiding in the room.
"With who ?"he blinked slowly
"With the old woman,she hurts
me "I wipe my eyes ,pleading him to stay.

"Fine I'll stay but only for an hour"
Kai crawled into bed laying behind me.I moved on to my side facing the door.I closed my eyes and felt a weight push against my side.I opened my eyes.
It was Kai's arm!!

I smiled and closed my eyes.Falling into a deep sleep ,this time not being Interrupted by an old woman with a knife, only Kai's arm draped against my body.

Why was I feeling like this?
God why the hell did I invite a vampire to bed! WAIT not like that but for comfort.

I was so confused.Kai was a real jerk in the beginning but I think I'm warming up to him but there is so no doubt in my mind that I hate with a burning passion Hunter.

His voice makes me burn in anger.I just want to lash out and break something, but Kai makes me relax...RELAX around a vampire.

I was really delirious...but hen there's Noah,I haven't really spoke to him,but now I only want to sleep.

Lay here and sleep peacefully for a while...
If only for a while...

Wow Kai !!!!
Keep those fineeeee fangs to yourself
