Going dormant

Avianna:
I rubbed my eyes groggily and lifted myself up onto my elbows,releasing a long yawn.
I heard a snort from across the room and raised my head gingerly to see jax across the room.
My eyes widened and I launched myself over to him,enveloping him in a hug.Last time I had seen him,he had been flying backwards from a tent.

I pulled my fist back and it connected with his jaw.He stumbled backwards and looked up slowly,rubbing his jaw.

"That's for letting them take me"
I hit him again
"That's for letting them drug me"
"And this is for not coming here sooner"

I shoved him and stalked back over to the bed.I looked over to see Hunters phone on the cabinet beside the hospital bed.

"Sorry"

My eyes snapped up to look at him and in that moment I forgave him.I don't know why.
I don't what made me do it.
And I certainly don't know why he was walking closer to me...

I had met him once and he was getting to close to me for my liking.
I stepped backwards,feeling the wall behind me.

"Your all I've thought about since I met you in the woods"he soothed as his hand trailed down my jaw.
"Can't you feel it?"he whispered into my ear

It was true I had felt something for him when I had first met him but I wasn't feeling the strong intensity I had before.
I shook my head afraid to speak

He slammed his fist against the wall inches from my head,making me squeeze my eyes shut.He had been warm and gentle when I had first met him.
What had changed him so much?

"Th...Those bloodsucking animals have got into your head"he slumped down onto the bed "I'm to late again"

I cautiously sat down beside him "to late for what again ?"
"They killed Lana and I couldn't save her"
Lana had been so kind,I knew she hadn't let them take me,They must. have threatened her.

Jax looked at me,with tears in his eyes "I met you before you were 18,before u gained your other...qualities"he strained on the last word.

"I felt something with you and it took me a while to figure it out but your my mate avianna"my eyes widened In surprise.

I shook my head "no your wrong,I can't feel it"I stood up "we can't be"
I knew I had felt it for him but it was gone and I don't understand why.

"Your vampire nature is fighting it"he looked down "your vampir is waiting for your vampire mate,you will be in constant war against your wolf and vampir and I fear your wolf is going dormant"

"Vampir?"his words swirled round me,my wolf ?i hadn't realised with everything going on that something was wrong
Jax groaned "haven't they told u anything?"

Alice:
I yawned and slipped out of my bed.
I pulled on the dress and the top,Aurelia had left me last night.
I giggled when I saw the door knob turning and I slipped behind it.

Hunter said he would come to see me today and bring me to see Avianna in the medical wing.It has to be him.

I got ready to jump up and surprise him from behind but the person coming in wasn't Hunter.
"Little witch"the voice hissed
The women turned and set her eyes on me,my breath caught,her face had a scar from her eye to her mouth.
Apart from that she was flawless.Black braids fell around Her face creating soft shadows under her cheekbones. Other than the brilliant white of her August smile and the pink of her lips, she was a perfect blend of browns from her skin.She put her hand to the air ,yanking me forward,i slipped under my legs and found myself staring up at her.

"Oh little girl,one so young and already led far astray"she placed her hand around my shoulder in a vice like grip.

I went to scream but she whispered something and blew smoke around us.

"They won't hear u Alice"

"How do u know my name?"I countered

"I'm a friend of your mothers"
I frowned at that,I couldn't remember my mother that well but I knew she didn't have many friend involved in the covens.

"Liar"I hissed launching myself at her.

She swerved out the way and I smacked into the wall of smoke surrounding us.
She raised an eyebrow at me "for a 8 year old ,u sure are violent"she smirked"must be Kai and hunter rubbing of on you"

I heard movement behind me as hunter walked in,awaiting me to jump and 'scare' Him.
He realised the wall of smoke and anger flared in his eyes.
"Hunter my love"the women sighed
"Cressida..."

Hey guys!! Jax is back yay ...
I honestly love Cressida as a character but hey that's only my opinion because I know her backstory.
