It had been a week since Anthony and Mel had taken Beth to the museum.  Today was the day that they would be leaving for their trip.  Melanie was all set and packed.  The plane wouldn't be leaving until eleven.  But Melanie figured it was a good idea to get up early, as she still had to get Bethany ready to take her over to Victoria's.  Melanie of course knew they would have plenty of time, but she wanted to be up early just in case.  She was ready to sit up and crawl out of bed when she felt Anthony wrap his arms around her, pulling her back to him.  He had just woken up himself but wasn't quite ready to get up yet, as he had heard Melanie stirring.  She gave a small grin as she felt him pull her close to him.  "I thought you were sleeping."  She said quietly.  Anthony opened his eyes to glance at Melanie but she could see that he was still tired.  "I woke up when I heard you moving around.  We don't have to leave now, we don't have to be too in a hurry.  The plane doesn't leave till eleven.  We have most of the things packed already."  He mumbled still seeming to be half asleep.

Melanie grinned glancing at him.  "But you can never be too sure.  Something might happen where we get behind..  So we need to allow ourselves extra time..  So we don't miss our plane.."  Anthony lifted his one eye open glancing at Mel.  "You worry too much.  We will be perfectly fine.  We have all of our bags packed, all we have to do is bring them to the car.  Relax for a little bit."  He let his hand slowly run through her hair to try to get her to calm down.  Melanie took a deep breath.  Scrunching up her nose.  "But we still have to drop off Beth at Levi and Victoria's.  And I'll have to make sure she has everything before we go.  And well..  You know Victoria, she always likes to try to keep you visiting for a while before she lets you go."

Anthony leaned forward giving Melanie a kiss on the forehead.  "I helped you pack Beth's things last night, we even checked off all the items on the list."  He reminded her.  "We are fine promise."  He closed his eyes to try and drift off to sleep for a little while longer.  Melanie sighed as she watched him drifting back off to sleep.  She looked at the clock.  It was seven o clock.  With a half an hour drive to the airport.  The plane was leaving at eleven thirty so she wanted to get there by nine thirty, ten.  So it would allow them time to get through the line.

Melanie did her best to snuggle closer to Anthony to get comfy, so she could calm down to try to fall back to sleep also.  Which didn't work out as well for her as she would've liked.  It's seven o clock.  The alarm would be going off in an hour anyways.  Even though Melanie couldn't fall back to sleep as she liked, she still tried her best to relax, remaining laying in bed so she wouldn't wake Anthony as he was trying to fall back to sleep.  But she couldn't help but stir around a little.  Melanie knew they had everything.  Anthony wasn't quite in a deep sleep so he could hear her moving around, trying to be quiet.  He could feel her resting her head against his chest.  "It'll be fine..  Promise."  He repeated, still having his eyes closed.  "We are supposed to be on vacation remember?"  Melanie pulled back only slightly to glance at Anthony and nodded.  "I..  I know.."  She mumbled.  She was a little tired, it was just that she was too nervous to make sure everything was organized and set for when the plane was ready to take off.  Sensing that she was still on edge, Anthony began to run his hand through her hair again.  It always seemed to be something that calmed Melanie down.  Along with being safe in his arms.   As she suddenly heard the alarm clock from her phone, she flung her eyes open feeling her heart pound fast.  She was surprised that when she looked at the clock showing eight o' clock, that she had managed to fall asleep for that hour.  Melanie reached over turning the alarm clock off from her phone then slowly sat up.  Glancing over at Anthony who was stirring awake himself.

"I can get Beth ready.  You can rest a little more."  She said watching him.  Anthony opened his eyes looking up at her, nodding his head.  "Alright."  Melanie studied him a moment longer before getting up out of bed and heading to the nursery so she could get Beth up and ready also.
