"Are you sure this is on right?" Anthony asked fumbling nervously with the tie. He took a sideways glance at the clock. Levi let a sigh escape his lips as he watched his friend nervously finish getting ready. He stepped up closer studying the necktie. Making sure it looked good. "It's perfectly fine as is. Relax man.." Levi said noticing Anthony seemed a bit on edge. Levi wasn't used to seeing Anthony act like this. He of course knew how Anthony's temper could be. But for the most part, his friend is usually the calm and collected one. Unless something really angered him, Anthony rarely let his emotions through. Or let people know what he was feeling. Another way Anthony and Melanie were similar. Neither of them these days were good with explaining their emotions. They let them get bottled up inside before exploding.

Levi let his hand rest on Anthony's shoulder. "Everything will turn out fine. You know that right?" Anthony glanced at him and took a deep breath. "I know it will be. But I want to make sure I look good.." Anthony said in a quiet voice. His tone sounding shy. He almost added look good for Melanie, but didn't. Taking in consideration those words didn't need saying. As Levi most likely knew that is what Anthony meant. Levi grinned at the statement. Knowing exactly what the unsaid message was.

"You look good." Anthony raised his eye. "Just good? Are you telling me it took all morning getting ready only for someone to tell me I just look good!?" Anthony questioned. Freaking out over the whole ordeal more than needed. Not quite sure why. Levi rolled his eyes. Assuming the comment would've made Anthony feel better. Apparently not.. "Well I thought it would be strange if I said I thought you looked dashing." Levi replied in hopes it would lighten the mood. But all it received was a glare from Anthony. He let out a small sigh at his friend's reaction. "Relax." He said again. "In the end, it will all turn out. You know that. Everyone gets nervous before the ceremony. But once it's all said and done.."

Anthony nodded. "I know. Guess with everything that's gone on.. There's still some worry.." Anthony let the sentence linger. He hated thinking such things. Because Melanie and him had been doing so good. Melanie thought all was good. However, Anthony still couldn't help but think such things. Clarissa had done a number on him. Anthony was worried she'd make another appearance. Whenever things were going good. Something had to come in and wreck it for them. And that something was usually Clarissa as of late. Anthony didn't say anything to Melanie because he didn't want her worrying again. They had come so far, he didn't want anything ruining what they had. If Anthony revealed his thoughts to Melanie. Both of them would go back to doubting, not trusting.. Melanie would go back to distancing herself in fear of losing someone again. At least that's what Anthony thought would happen.

Levi narrowed his eyes. Not liking at all the direction this conversation started. "Please don't tell me you're taking this time to change your mind of being with Melanie.." Levi asked. The tone in his voice sounded a little colder than needed. Anthony flinched. Annoyed his friend would even consider such a thought. "No! Of course not!" Anthony answered a bit too quickly. A hint of anger flashed in his eyes. He couldn't believe Levi would even ask that question. An awkward silence hung in the air. Anthony realized Levi was just looking out for his friend. As he and Victoria always did. But for some reason he couldn't help it. "You know me Levi.. I wouldn't do that to Mel.. I couldn't.. Even if I tried.. I love her.. Believe me.. I should know.." He already tried once to walk away from Mel. At a time he didn't think he stood a chance with her. He hadn't wanted to. But back then, in that moment, Anthony feared it was for the best. Anthony let the words flow freely as he spoke them. Surprised he managed to keep his voice calm when speaking with Levi. The nerves faded as the reasons why he wanted to marry Melanie were answered.

"I know you wouldn't." Levi responded. A sigh escaped his lips. "I shouldn't of asked that. Because it's not true. The two of us have known each other a long time. I know you very well. And knowing what both have gone through, in getting to this point. It wasn't an easy road for either. It took a long time getting to this place. I know you wouldn't jeopardize anything. I know you love Melanie and would do what it takes in protecting her. For that I'm grateful. Because Victoria nor myself can't always be there. So I'm happy she found someone who could. I think you've been amazing for her. In spite of how the relationship began. Thank you for not giving up on Melanie when she needed you the most. Because both of you can be stubborn as hell."
