I was sitting at the table for breakfast when something was slammed down in front of me. Looking up from buttering my croissant I saw Kyoya with an unimpressed expression. I glanced down to what he had pushed under my nose and picked it up. It was a magazine. Not just any magazine; the AI Fashion magazine. There on the front cover was Hikaru, Kaoru and I lounging on each other in our swimwear.
"Oh," was all I said, which made Kyoya recoil and fold his arms. "I don't look as bloated as I thought," I shrugged and looked back at him as he stood there with folded arms.
It seemed that wasn't the answer Kyoya was looking for as he sighed and sat himself down on the other side of the table.
"This weekend away was to escape the paparazzi and interviewers, Rin," he sighed and grabbed his fresh cup of coffee. "I didn't expect you to be flouncing off with sleazy interviewers and photographers after everything that happened this week. And then dragging Hikaru and Kaoru into it, I can't control this now its out. This will effect the Host club you know?"
"Dragging Hikaru and Kaoru into what?" Kaoru asked as he walked into the room, his arm slinging around Hikaru's shoulders.
I picked up the magazine and threw it in Hikaru's direction as he sat beside me. Kaoru went around and sat beside Kyoya, awaiting an answer.
"Hey, I wasn't flouncing!" I argued. "The photographer and interviewer came up to me! And annoyingly but politely asked for an interview. I never thought I'd make front cover."
"We'd make front cover," Hikaru corrected, flipping open the magazine showing Kaoru the front as he tried to find the interview.
"Don't we look good?" Kaoru gasped sarcastically, flapping his hands to his face, much to Kyoya's unamusement. After a moment Kaoru sniggered and helped himself to breakfast as Haruhi and Mori entered the room.
God knows where Tamaki was. He was an incredibly early riser, whereas Hunni, Kyoya and I weren't, so the majority of us being at breakfast where he was not was weird.
Hikaru handed over the magazine telling me I just had to read it, he didn't sound too enthusiastic. I glanced over it; a frothy description of the beach scene, describing me as radiant and calm. Apparently I welcomed them warmly, as if they had been invited. The article went on with the questions she had asked and lightly altered versions of my replies until I got to the secret boyfriend part. It mentioned how skittish and nervous I seemed at that precise moment but glossed over it when I mentioned the fashion, which went into great detail, including a picture of the dress on the side. It wasn't until I had gotten to the part where the twins had joined that made me blush deeply and jump up to my feet.
"The Hiitachiin brothers greeted Rin like she was a sister. So it was no surprise by how relaxed they seemed around her," I read aloud from the magazine quickly, getting to the part which annoyed me the most. After missing out some of their interview parts it came back to - "However, the way Rin acted around these boys portrayed an almost flirtatious grace! As if she had both boys around her manicured, blue pinky finger! I have to say, I sensed there was something going on between these three characters. Only a fool couldn't see that! Just look at the collection of pictures!" I flipped through the pictures of us lounging around, play fighting and looking out to the sea. All of which looked fairly normal, except the photographer used the sunset and editing to make it look hazy and romantic. "So what do you say, readers? Team Hikaru (right with ginger hair) or Team Kaoru (left with brown)? Or do you think Rin's getting the BEST OF BOTH WORLDS?! JESUS CHRIST! WHAT THE FUCK?! WHO DOES SHE THINK I AM?! SOME SORT OF TWIN BANGER?!"
Haruhi tried to stifle a laugh but I looked at her with eyes blazing, scaring her into looking down and admiring her own warm croissant.
"You shouldn't have agreed to an interview," Kyoya tutted in an all-knowing tone.
