Please Don't Fire Me!

Faye POV

"No, I actually think it's cute that you sleep with a stuffed animal." I look at him with an arched eyebrow and he clears his throat, "How often do you call someone cute?"

I get out of bed and walk to my closet, "I don't call other people cute, so far you have been the only one I had called cute." I grab a sweatshirt and some gray tights, "I'm surprised you haven't called Katy cute. She's actually a pretty woman."

I go to the bathroom and do my usual routine. I come out of the bathroom and see Brent still in my room, "Did you stand there the whole time?" He nods his head, "Yes, yes I did. I didn't know if I were to leave or not."

My sweatshirt slides off my shoulder, "You don't have to get permission to leave, you can leave whenever you want to." I start making my bed, "You know you're beautiful, right?" He comes on the other side of my bed and helps me make it, "Huh?"

"You're a beautiful woman. I didn't like the way you said Katy was pretty. It sounded like you were calling yourself ugly or something." I look at him with an arched eyebrow and he smiles at me, "You still coming with me to Jackson place?"

He nods his head, "Yeah, I invited Henry over." We walk downstairs and I pull my phone out, "I had told Jackson that you are inviting someone."

We walk to the garage and I throw him some keys, "I'll put the address in the GPS." We pull out of the garage, "What do you like to do other than work?" I shrug my shoulders and he sighs, "You don't know anything about yourself, do you?"

I look at him and then back out the window, "I haven't done anything fun in a long time. If you count having sex with Jackson fun, then I have fun every now and then." He lets out a long breath, "Just forget I even asked."

I look at him with an arch eyebrow, "When was the last time you had fun?" He looks at me and then back at the road, "Actually, it was recent. It was when I went mini golfing with Katy." I stare at him for ten whole seconds, "Be honest to me and yourself. When was the last time you had real fun?"

He drops his head and looks back at the road, "What makes you think I'm lying?" He starts smiling and I cross my arms, "When you came back that night, it didn't look like you had fun, and plus you can't even hold your smile back."

He starts laughing as we pull up to Jackson house. He opens the door before we could even ring the doorbell. He looks at us with a smile.

Brent POV

"You're late, Henry and Katy beat you here?" Me and Faye both arch our eyebrow, "Katy?" We ask at the same time.

He wraps his arm around Faye's shoulders, "Yeah, I kind of invited her as an apology for working her too hard yesterday. Unlike The Ice Princess, she doesn't care if she works her employees too hard." Faye rolls her eyes as we walk in.

Henry sees us and smile, "What's up, Brent? Hello, Ms.Curtain." I give Henry a handshake and Katy gives me hug and smiles at Faye, "Now that everybody is here, let's start watching movies til the end of the night."

Before we could choose a movie, the doorbell rings. "Faye, please get that for me. Thank you, love you." Faye rolls her eyes and goes to the door. She comes back seconds later along with Sarah tagging behind her.

"Ugh." I hear Henry groan, "What are you doing here, Sarah?" Sarah looks at Faye and then at Henry, "I wanted to stay with this sexy man all day." She walks over and sits beside Henry, "Please scoot over, I would like some space to myself. No matter how many times you talk to me, I will always reject you." My eyes widen at Henry last comment, "You'll want me sooner or later." Sarah says with so much confidence in her voice.
