Hello, Readers ~

To anyone unfamiliar with my work, I want to thank you for giving this fanfiction a try. And to those who are familiar with my work, I'm glad y'all, too, for giving this fanfiction a try as well.

As written in the description, this Hetalia fanfiction is focused on OCs personifying the States of America, plus Washington D.C. For readers who aren't familiar with my OCs, I've already written a couple of books on them. Hetalia: Guide to the Fifty States contains each OCs' profile. This book won't contain introductions on each OC/state, so I recommend checking that guide out for those unfamiliar with my OCs. Even then, I think anyone can get the gist of these characters in this book alone without a needed guide.

Anyway, about myself, I normally write Hetalia fanfiction based on the States of America. However, the main series, Hetalia: The Fifty Stars, is unique for its long stories, complex topics, and references to U.S. history and culture (anyone can check that story out on my Wattpad profile). While I still like to write such stories, it can be overwhelming in terms of the story's length and the amount of research I have to do on each topic. Plus, I always feel such stories divert from Hetalia's light-hearted tone and comedy.

In addition to that, I'm currently working on writing the sequel to the main series. The first book took me a little over a year to complete. As for the sequel so far, I had yet to decide when to publish it. And seeing as I have followers and readers who like what I wrote, I didn't want them to wait forever and feed off my new updates on my progress. Thus, I was inspired to create this book for you guys!

Below are some noteworthy points this fanfiction contains, especially in comparison to the main series:

- The chapters in this book are called "episodes" due to the random content they contain and their design is based on the anime's format.

- Such episodes may have multiple scenes. Some scenes may follow a continuous story/plot. Other scenes may be separate one-offs from each other (similar to the anime).

- Such episodes are short in length (500 ~ 3,000 words per episode).

- Such episodes will generally be in 3rd person (either limited or omniscient).

- Such episodes are comedic and light-hearted in general (although I may have a serious, melancholic topic as an episode if the supposed story is too short to be featured in the main series).

- Such episodes may contain references to U.S. history and culture (all of which will be mentioned in the footnotes at the end of each episode).

- Such episodes may be based on current events while I'm updating the story; some of which may involve controversial and/or political topics. I'll try to be unbias and show both sides of the topic. Overall, please know the viewpoints I show don't mean I support or am against such opinions, nor am I forcing anyone to agree.

- Hetalia characters and OCs are referred to by the land they represent (no human names) to prevent any confusion that may pop up.

- My 50 States OCs will have multiple appearances, however, some may have more "screen time" than others whether intentional or not.

- There are no side chapters/episodes in this fanfiction.

Of course, this fanfiction isn't perfect. There may be spelling and grammar mistakes throughout this work, so don't be afraid to notify me of such mistakes in a polite manner. I'll sometimes go back and correct such mistakes over time, but the material should be readable for most readers. Also, the style throughout this series is intended to mimic Hetalia, however, I'm not an expert on humor, so I apologize to anyone who doesn't find anything within this book amusing. Lastly, there may be mistakes regarding the historical and cultural references I make whether it be a misinterpretation on my part or something I forgot to mention. If that happens, I'll go so far as to fix the plot if necessary. Despite such mistakes, as long as this book is entertaining to some, I fulfill this book's purpose.

Again, thank you to those for giving this fanfiction a try and hopefully enjoy this series. As a fellow Italian, I say: PASTA~

~ Jade
