I stared at Kenna in complete disbelief. I don't think I'm seeing everything. She betrayed my trust, we are supposed to be best friends. Kenna listened to me, she never questioned anything. She just tried to be that perfect friend.
Well after Eva, Izzy, Mads and Kitty betrayed me, clearly it catches on. I need to seriously rethink who I trust. Tears streamed down my face and Evan started mocking me, "Ha you have no right to cry. This is all your fault!"
Kenna laced her fingers with Evan and kissed his cheek...and I'm the cheat?! Yeah right! I feel like I've just been used this whole time. No one really wanted to be friends with me, they just used me to fix what they once had and then got rid of me when it had fixed.
I ran home to talk to Mum, she usually knows how to cheer me up. And right now, I'll do anything to be able to smile for longer than a millisecond.
"Sweetie, I honestly don't know who's in the wrong. You did kiss this Alfie first right? And Evan saw you..."
"Thanks Mum but it sounds like you're saying this is all my fault."
"Look darling, the weekend tomorrow. Please just leave this till you go back. You'll feel better, we'll talk about it in more detail another day."
"Fine, best start to the weekend ever...not!" Well that was useless.
The front door slammed shut, and a voice echoed down the hall.
"And that's my cue to leave. I'll get a snack later Mum, I don't fancy any dinner."
I ran upstairs and bumped into Evelyn on my way up sending her tumbling backwards and hitting her head.
"Oh goodness, Evi. Are you Ok? I wasn't looking where I was going, how come you was running anyway? I'm so sorry. Evelyn talk to me!"
"Aria Carpenter, what was that bang?!"
"I tripped over Mum, I'm fine!" I shout, hoping she believed me.
Evelyn sat up slowly and rubbed the back of her head. She got up and walked into her room and slammed the door. It's at this point that I wish I was back at Westend. I'm normally so excited to spend time with my Mum and sister so they can never shut me up, but after everything with my friends, my boyfriend, Josh, Alfie, Kenna, etc I have nothing to be excited for.
I collapsed on my bed and fell asleep, fully dressed. At about 2AM, I was awoke by my phone ringing. I turned over and saw Evan's name flashing, I answered it, not really knowing what I was doing.
"Hello? Aria, you there?"
"Yeah..."
"Look, we need to talk. You me, Madison, Eva, Kitty, and Izzy. My mates are coming too. Kenna And Alfie aren't a part of this."
I flinched when he said their names, they aren't exactly my favourite people right now.
"Sure, where should we meet?"
"Eva's house in 15."
"Ok, see ya."
I hung up and dragged myself out of bed. I creeped quietly over to my wardrobe and changed. I shrugged my cosy jacket on and crept out of the door. My phone beeped, oh no. This is NOT good...
