Game On (Keith X Reader) (Youtuber/Modern AU?)

Chapter Two

The ding of a notification could be heard. Keith pulled out his phone from his back pocket to see that Y/N had tweeted.

'Surprise livestream in 15 mins w/ Mark Bob and Jack! Gonna play some prop hunt, GTA, DbD, PUBG Zombies, and maybe a couple other things! Who knows when this stream will end...' the tweet read.

Keith looked back up to his computer. It wasn't like he was doing anything too important, just some random editing for the channel. He was working on the video that was supposed to go out in two days. His video.

The Voltron channel had a schedule for everyone's videos. Shiro uploaded a video on Monday, he uploaded a video on Tuesday, then it was Pidge on Wednesday, then Lance on Thursday, and finally Hunk on Friday. Occasionally, Coran or Allura would upload something on the weekends, but they had other things to do, so they didn't always get one out.

The videos could be anything, ranging from a vlog, to a gaming video, to even a song cover, though it was usually only Allura or Lance who did covers. The only rule was that it had to focus mainly on you. It had to be your vlog, or the video had to be from your perspective, stuff like that.

Everyone edited their own videos usually, but sometimes they would ask for help if they were busy. Keith was usually the go-to editor for help, but he wasn't sure why. Maybe he was better than the others and he didn't realise it?

He shook his head clear of his thoughts and got back to work, knowing that he would get a notification when the stream started. He always watched her streams when he could. Hell, he always watched her videos when he could. Everyone would tease him and say he had a crush on Y/N, but he only admired her, right?

He got so caught up in his work that he barely even noticed when the notifacations from YouTube sounded, telling him that C/N (channel name) had started a livestream.

He immedeitly clicked on the notifacations and turned off everything else so that he could watch the stream with nothing else to bother him. She was just starting, so it was quiet with the exception of a few jokes from one of the guys that she would laugh light ornroll her eyes at while she finished doing a couple things for the stream.

"We're gonna wait a couple minutes for some more people to join the stream, and then we'll get going," Y/N said, smiling into the face cam.

He kept his eyes locked on the small rectangle in the corner which showed her face. Beautiful H/C hair, shimmering E/C eyes. She was beautiful and funny.

Oh shit.

Maybe he did have a crush on her.

But it was just a stupid crush. Like the crushes that people get for celebrities or fictional characters. Crushes that they know will never happen, but figure it's nice to think about.

"Okay, I think we can start the stream now." She started off, seemingly very hyper. "What is up, guys. C/N here with another livestream. We're planning on playing some Gmod Prop Hunt, maybe some PUBG Zombies and Dead by Daylight or even GTA. If you have any other game suggestions, leave them in the chat, we'd love to know," Y/N said. She calmed down a bit when she got closer to the end of her intro, like she usually did. Her voice got softer and it just made him feel like she really did care about him, even if she probably had no idea who he was. "Anyways, I'm here with Bob, Jack, and Mark. Say hi, boys."

The three boys all greeted the stream and they started discussing what game to play first. They had decided on some PUBG, even though Y/N had barely ever played.

"You've never played PUBG?" Mark asked, laughing a bit. Keith watched as Y/N rolled her eyes at her brother.

"No, so I'll need help," she told him.
