Y/N realised what she was doing as soon as she heard the surprised 'oooooh's' coming from the crowd. Her eyes widened and she pulled away from the kiss she had started.
Keith was shocked but he didn't mind, but Y/N felt really embarrassed. She muttered an apology before quickly leaving.
She hurried out to Mark's car, hopping in the front seat and hoping that nobody would come out and see her. Especially not Keith.
She sighed, leaning on the back of her seat and closing her eyes. Sure, she liked him quite a bit, but she wasn't expecting to kiss him, much less be the one to kiss the other.
She opened her eyes and grabbed her phone, opening it to see that Keith had texted her. She didn't want to reply or even tap on the notification, but she also didn't want to make him possibly worry by not replying.
Plus, she had already absent-mindedly tapped on the notification.
She looked to see that Keith was typing, so she quickly read his last text.
Are you okay?
Y/N took a deep breath before she started typing.
Yeah, I'm fine? she asked herself, trying to see if it was the right thing to send. She shook her head and deleted the words she had typed.
Yeah. I'm sorry
For what?
For kissing you
Y/N waited for his reply, the three dots beating rhythmically as he typed what must be a long message. While she waited for his reply, Y/N went on other places.
She checked her Twitter, seeing that a bunch of it was news about her kissing Keith, and how apparently they were one of the 'hottest ships' at the moment.
She felt her phone Buzz with a text and she closed her eyes, dreading what the text would read. She slowly opened her eyes and looked at her phone again.
The kiss? It's fine. Honestly, I know it's a little silly, but I've had at least somewhat of a crush on you since I first saw your channel when it had barely 100k subscribers. I'm sorry if that sounds creepy. I was just hoping to tell you that I liked you before you left for New York again, and that was what I was going to tell you before we went out for the final match
Y/N's eyes widened. She was a little skeptical at first, but she could somehow tell that he was telling the truth.
Are you coming back in?
Y/N thought for a minute. She would be perfectly happy staying in the car, but she thought that maybe she should go in and try and see Keith again, maybe try and work something out.
Wait, I'm not going back to New York. I'm moving out here to L.A.
Somehow, Keith thought that she was going back to New York. If he saw the VidCon announcement video, then he probably didn't watch the part saying that she was moving.
Really? Oh, then I guess o have more time to tell you that I love you
Y/N chuckled a bit at his text. It was plainly obvious that he was trying to cheer her up.
Anyways, are you coming back in?
Y/N waited a moment before sighing and texting him back with her answer.
I guess
She sighed once again, forcing herself to get out of the car. She shoved her phone back into her back pocket before looking at the building. What she was dreading the most was people coming up to her and asking her about it, not really talking to Keith.
She stood and stared at the building some more, not noticing Keith walking up to her.
"You sure you're okay?" Keith asked, making Y/N jump.
"Why wouldn't I be?" Y/N asked, giving him a confused glance.
"Well, you've been standing out here just staring at the building for about ten minutes now," Keith told her.
"Oh. I guess I've just been trying to put off going inside. I don't want to deal with fans asking me questions," Y/N said, sighing.
Keith looked around before spotting the bench that he had first talked to Y/N at. "C'mon. We don't have to go inside. I just want to talk."
Y/N followed him to the bench and sat down next to him, sort of scared of what questions he would ask.
"Look, Y/N," he began, "I really like you. I can live with it if you don't like me back the way I like you, but please, just tell me. Do you like me?"
Y/N looked down, trying to figure out what to say. Yes, of course she like him back, but how could she convince him that she was telling the truth?
"Keith, I-" She paused, taking a deep breath. "I really like you, too. I don't know if you'll think that I'm just trying to pity you or something, but I really do like you Keith."
"Really?" Keith asked, looking a little skeptical.
Y/N nodded. She felt a bit of heat rise up to her face, but she knew that it wouldn't be too noticeable.
"So," Keith began, trying to start up a conversation, "you're not going back to New York?"
"Yeah, I'm moving to L.A. and I'm staying with Mark while the current people living in the apartment move out," Y/N told him.
"Well then, would you like to go out sometime?" Keith asked. "It's okay if you don't-"
Y/N cut him off by kissing him again, meaning to do so and knowing what she was doing this time. She pulled away and smiled softly at him. "I would love to," she said.
She got up to walk back into the building, leaving a speechless Keith sitting on the bench.
Guys please give me ideas for the puppy. I don't just want to call it the puppy forever. If you don't pick a name then I'm gonna just pick one myself and you'll have to deal with it
