Ahad:
While chatting with my cousin, my ex-partner, I happened to spot a girl I knew well—my soon-to-be wife. Her face paled as she looked at me; had I already hurt her?She needs to know, but what exactly will I explain to her?the reality? She turned away when she realized I was staring at her, but I still felt compelled to go tell her everything since I knew she needed to know. However, as I was walking toward her, my ex-cousin followed me, so I thought it would be best to hold off on talking to her for the time being.

Her uncle and aunt arrived, and she decided to keep herself occupied with them and Imran.

I hope she does not tell them anything, and that is exactly what she did; they even forced my cousin and me to have lunch with them because they had decided we would eat here instead of going home and making something.

I know I made a mistake, but I was staring at someone who is gradually gaining a place in my heart. My ex-girlfriend Hafsa recently came to me to apologize for running away from me. I know it will take some time because I really loved her, and Imran and everyone else knew too—Yumna even told me half the story, but she said she did not mind.

We prayed together, and I prayed to Allah to lead me and help me win her heart once more. I know she is a softie and will forgive me, so I will tell her everything. After all, everyone deserves a second chance, right?

"Will you kindly drop Yumna off at home, Ahad?" When Imran asked, I turned to look at him and asked, "What is wrong?"Perhaps he felt something.

I was shocked to hear from my aunt, "Yeah we allow you because you two are mature, solve out your issues before wedding."

Yumna shrugged her shoulders, hugged everyone, and continued while I stared at her.

"Ya Allah, what is wrong with me? Angry Yumna sounds cool."

I hugged Imran and told them thank you, and he told me not to hurt his sister and to resolve problems.

She was simply walking forward, taking long steps, and I trailed behind. I wonder how far she managed to avoid me?

Even after I told Yumna that we needed to talk, she persisted.

I sincerely apologized, saying, "I know my actions have hurt you, I know I lied to you when you called me, and I am sorry," but she had already stopped and was focusing on something else.

"I am not upset with you; as I previously informed you, it is in the past and irrelevant," she said, glancing sideways.

Hah!who is she fooling around now?No girl can see her fiance with anyone else.

"Let us go, it is getting late, and I need to prepare food," she told me.

"No...no one is going anywhere. We are eating here and that is the end of the discussion," I told her in a firm voice, and she just stared at me with those beautiful eyes.

She dragged a chair from the table and sat opposite me, telling me to call my cousin and eat with them.

I chose to tease her further because I could not stop smiling at her possessing a jealous side.

I grinned at her and said, "I can do that if you want. She must not have gone so far." She was looking adorable and apprehensive.

"I sincerely apologize. I told her again in the hopes that she would accept my sincerity and that she would not ask me any more questions, which would only cause further misunderstanding.

Little did I know.

"You loved her so much, did not you? Do you still love her?She asked me, but I could tell she had been wanting to ask this question for a long time.

"Yes or no?"With hope in her eyes, she asked me once more.

Yumna, listen up, I really need some time. I loved her so much, but she broke my heart, and ever since then, I have changed—I have become, as they say, cold-hearted and all that—but then I met you, and you are slowly winning my heart.

"All right, I agree with you, but do not keep anything else from me." I merely nodded in response to her statement that we had had enough meetings. We then ordered our food and ate in quiet until she told me that we would no longer be receiving messages or meeting until the wedding.

As I waited for her to approach her door—it was already 3 p.m., so I figured everyone must be home—I grinned.

"Please make a turn." I prayed in my head that she would turn around, and the next thing she did was just make me stare at her.
