While men and women were in separate rooms, all the girls were gathered in one large room.

The first henna (mehndi) event is today. I have always loved Indian designs, so we called her a lady, but she has not arrived yet.

"No, he did not text or call," I told him as I closed a bottle of Sprite and thanked him, to which he simply nodded.

"Be careful there," he said while removing stool that was down near mine. I realized what he meant since
There was a stool nearby, so as I was about to stand up, I glanced up at him before turning away.

"Yumna, I apologize for being late. I got stuck and here's your soda," Aisha said, breathing heavily as she reached for the bottle, but as soon as she saw that I had Sprite already, she noticed Ahad walking away.

Ahad brought himself because he thought about me, knew I liked Sprite and was thirsty, and was still denying it, even though I was smiling the entire time. If Aisha brought Sprite and Ahad said Yumna was busy, then he brought himself.

"Why are you smiling, and what was he doing here?"Following Aisha's statement, Lubayna and Alya joined us, and they immediately began making fun of me.

I assured them, knowing they would not believe me unless I told them, "Nothing wrong, just some thoughts."

After I told them, Aisha told me how kind Ahad was to come get you something since he saw that I was busy—to be honest, I had even forgotten your soda. What a lucky girl you are, she said.

"I want to share something with you girls, but please keep it between us," I said after telling them everything. They were taken aback.
