Yumna:
Just let your partner know that this is just the beginning and that today's events were merely a warning; the real fun will start the next time. After the warning, the car sped away, leaving me feeling depressed and wondering why he was interested in my fiance's life. What exactly had Ahad done to him?

While I was waiting for Imran, I ran, thinking it was him, but what I saw was not Imran at all, but some strange guys who were actually after Ahad, and they just threatened me.

When I finally realized that they actually wanted to kill Ahad, I was just shaking with terror. But why, exactly? Why did they intend to kill him?Should I tell anyone? What if informing others would endanger their lives as well?

At Hospital:
"Imran, will Ahad be okey?please ask doctor's and what's happening?the goons and attacking and all that,  it hurts to see everything so messed up " I asked him while we were all waited outside his door as the  doctors checked upon him. They came in and out of his room , ya Allah please safe him, I cant see him like this.

Please Allah make him alright. I prayed silently.

"Drink some coffee and bites it will help you alot," Imran bought some food as we hadn't had anything since morning. He was the one being strong man , as the head for all of us.

"You know you should eat something, be strong, he wouldn't wish to see you like this when he wakes up" Nothing tasted sweet without Imran's comforting presence as he gave me coffee to drink. I did not feel like eating, so I took slow, steady sips of it.

When the doctor eventually emerged and informed us that Ahad was awake, I was not sure if it was appropriate for me to go inside since Aisha's parents had gone home to rest, so I opted to stay outside the room and call them. However, Ahad's mother dragged me inside while grinning at me, and I grinned back. Nervousness is creeping me out; what will he think or say, and how will we interact with one another?

After they left, Imran and I entered.Alhamdulillah, he was fine, just a bandage on his head, but he appeared drained and tired.

I thought, "Let us see how you go to work now. No more working for a few days."

He was lying on a hospital bed when everyone greeted him. I smiled at him when he looked in my direction, but he quickly turned away, as if I were a stranger. I scowled and turned away, feeling as though someone had stabbed me in the face, wondering why he had left my line of sight.

It hurt this time. And it hurt much more than I expected.

"Mhhh..water,"His dad gave it to him when he mumbled for it, and he attempted to sit down, but his mother intervened and got him to sit halfway before he drank and reclined. Not a single eye contact from him occurred during all of this.

The doctor said, "There is nothing to worry, everything is okay, I have just given some prescriptions just have pills on time," and he handed Ahad's father a note. However, Imran instructed uncle to give him so he could purchase the medications. In our relationship, my brother and I have always been closer.

He did not even look my way when I called Aisha to let the others know he was awake. I just managed to stop the tear that was about to spill out of my eye.
Knowing him, there has to be another concern on his mind.

For now, I will simply remain composed and think positively.

While coming to hug me, his mother said, "Thank you so much Yumna for ringing Imran and stopping the blood from flowing too much and that too on time."

"It is not me, he saved me; he just shoved me aside and put his life in danger to save mine," I stated honestly as I turned to face Ahad. His eyes darted away from me as soon as I noticed that he was staring at me. What was the issue with him? I felt like running over to console him and tell him it was not his fault.
I know he is blaming himself, believing he is the one behind this.

Why is Ahad giving me the cold shoulder?"What is wrong?"These questions kept ringing in my head, but I never said anything, so they remained sealed.

In order to ensure that the couple went and rested, Imran said, "I think all of you should take rest and since he is awake I will give him company."
There was complete silence in the room now that it was just the three of us.

He even insisted that I stay, but after Ahad talked to his father, they all advised me to stay back for a bit. Since I was unable to refuse them, Imran and I stayed behind.

There was just the three of us in the room, awkward silence, and Imran excused himself to bring some lunch.

Is now the right time to tell him, or should I wait?
I pulled a chair up beside his bed and sat down, but he never once looked at me. If that is the case, then why did you even save me, I wondered.

"Ahad, when that car came when you were unconscious, I thought it was Imran, so I ran to it, but there were scary people inside who threatened me, saying this was just a warning the real game is about to begin and the fun," I said, glancing at him the entire time, but he avoided eye contact.

"You simply fled without contacting Imran, damn you," he yelled.

Out of everything I said, this was the only thing he understood.

"I told you I thought it was Imran; why don't you get it?" I told him trying my best to lower my voice.

He clenched his fist and looked at me, then looked away, saying, "Just do not talk to strangers next time."

No, do not cry; he may be shocked as a result of the accident.

"Ahad take these medicines Imran called and told me to give you," I told him, pouring water into a glass and handing him pills.

"No need for them, I am fine," "Just go home," he said.

With less than seven days remaining, he was dismissing me. What had happened that day?We got along just fine yesterday.

"I told Yumna to give you some medicine, had you taken it?" When Imran came in and put his lunch down, he just stared at me, maybe because the awkward silence and situation had taken the joy out of his expression.

"Take these medications, Ahad; they will help you." That is when, according to my brother, he agreed.

So I was merely conversing with a wall the entire time?

My idiot of a fiance..Astagfirullah.

After serving them lunch and apologizing, Imran told me that his aunt had told him to eat and leave. I made the decision to sit on the coach away from my soon-to-be husband, who was avoiding conversation with me, and Imran went to the doctor to get discharge papers.
******
His next words simply left me stunned because everything was done in just seven days, and I will soon find out what is bothering him.

"Say no to this wedding,"I just kept staring at this person who saved my life.

"What made him act in this way?"
