Seriously?Perhaps they were pretending not to hear, or perhaps none of these people were opening doors?Guys and football, it seems like they will eat together while watching TV, I suppose.

I placed the jug, and Aisha motioned for me to open the door. I went to open the door after tying my hijab correctly even though I have no idea who is there.

I heard a knock twice, Allah. Whoever it is, do they not understand the value of patience?some people uhhhhhhhh.

I just stared at the person in front of me after I opened the door.

With only ten days remaining, Ahad was present and directly in front of me. Who even gave him permission?I opened my mouth to speak, but I think I was just a little excited to see him. His parents then came in, and I said hello and invited them in.

"Was I dreaming, or what?"

A large table was set up in the garden behind the house; it is so peaceful at night that we started with fruits first, as fruits should be eaten first, and then we served main dishes while everyone talked in groups and waited in the cool wind.

We served on a table and decided that it would be better for the ladies and girls to sit on mats after the men had finished.

After dinner:

"Mmhhh...uncle I want to talk to Yumna," He started but hesitated in beginning, he sounded so nervous as if my uncle will refuse him.

They all looked at me and guys were laughing at him for being so nervous and he signalled them to just shut their mouths.

"Yeah dear, you and her can go and talk in the room inside and don't worry I will make sure no one follows you people,"He said while signalling to Aisha and guys.

I feel so bad for leaving Aisha alone but she signalled me not to worry  as she will join ladies for thr time being.

"Can we go?"He was already near me but I am glad he din't touch me and respected the rules Alhamdulillah I whispered.

"Yeah," I told him and guided him in room and he told me we face the door incase my cousins come to disturb with their pranks.

There was total silence I wasn't looking at him, I was staring aside or at ground and I have no idea how or what he must be thinking or why was he invited?

He broke silence finally.

"I know you have alot of questions and don't worry I just wanted to talk to you I know 10days are left but we need small talk before that, what do you think,"I gave him a brief glance before averting my eyes in response to his question.

"He motioned for me to sit, and he took a seat next to me in a chair," awaiting my next words.

"It is difficult to avoid someone who is so close to you, but you must make an effort and it will only take a few days," I told myself.

We will pray to make this marriage work and together we will support each other insha'Allah. I told him what was on my mind. "I am not perfect but I will try to be a better wife for you and a better daughter in law as your parents expect me to be. I will have my flaws you also have and sometimes you will be angry sometimes I will be moody," I said.

"Wow, MashaaAllah, I can not promise you that I will not get angry because I have anger management issues, but I will take care of you, cherish you, and love you till I am alive," he concluded, to our mutual amusement.

"Now that I know what you had to tell me, I am not asking you for anything," I told him, hoping he would understand that I had prayed to Allah to send me someone and that I would do everything in a halal manner. "But other personal things I want to discover myself after being your wife, after tying knot, and in a halal way," I said.

"If I agree to this, I will respect your wishes and wait until after ten days, InshaaAllah, I will know your every like and dislike with my own eyes," He told me, and a smile never left my face.

"Wow, I made you smile with just some simple conversation," he said, knowing he was teasing me.

I simply nodded.

"Are we ready to go now?Everyone must be waiting, and I know cousins will not leave us alone. He was aware of how everyone was by now, and he enjoyed telling me that day.

"Yeah, you go and I will follow you." I informed him I realize that at this point I must be blushing, so I do not want to be so close.

Him and his sweet words I even have more work for Aisha and Imran.

"No, go ahead as ladies first." He gestured for me to go ahead, and he would follow.

Why can not I be cheerful in front of him?Maybe I still feel uneasy in his presence.It will take some time.

"I have one request today; will you agree?"He questioned me.

I nodded, wondering what he wanted.

As I was walking he told me to stay back and wait.

I saw him approach everyone and tell them something, and they all smiled and nodded.

"What was going on?"He just gave me a shrug and blindfolded me when I asked when he arrived back.

I can't see anything I told him but when I moved my hand no one was there?where's he?What game was he playing right now?
