All bonds, whether friendship or romantic, are based on trust.

Ahad:
I checked the time it was 7:00pm ohno!Mum had told me quite clearly to arrive early because it was just the three of us at the family get-together.

I gave her a forehead kiss while ignoring Yumna when I asked her what the occasion was. She simply replied that we needed to spend some time together.

I was feeling guilty because I knew she needed answers and it hurt to keep her from seeing her in pain, but I also knew that if she found out, she would despise me even more because she is too innocent and has a heart of forgiveness. Although I regret some of my decisions, marrying her was one of the best ones I have ever made.

I grabbed my car keys and headed home. When I opened the door, my wife was so beautifully dressed—she hardly ever dresses up—that I was in complete shock. I looked around the house, noting that the table was adorned with roses and candles, but it was not the right moment.

I can not even look her in the eyes until I tell her the truth; if I don't, it will slowly kill me.

She was waiting for me to say something but instead I snapped at her I asked her where were mum and dad? When I told her that she had told my mother everything that was going on with us, she retreated and denied being afraid of me.

I could tell she felt something was not right with me, but would she be able to handle all of these questions when I told her? She was persistent in her questioning. Will she be treated fairly?

I gave up and told her, "Okay, I will tell her everything, but let us spend some time together first." She simply nodded and thanked me.

I have made a big mistake please forgive me!Please, I will do anything to earn your forgiveness!

"Do you remember when I first asked for your hand in marriage?"She looked confused when I tried to touch her hands on the table, so I took them off. It hurt, but nothing compared to what I am going to tell her in a few days—I will break her a lot and I will fix her, I swear.

She raised her eyebrows and gave me a strange, foreign-looking look when I told her, "I never intended to send you a proposal—it was dare."

She said, "You mean the first time you sent a proposal it was dare yeah?" I nodded, and she smiled. However, when I told her there was more to it, her smile vanished and she turned pale, as if she was waiting for me to reveal something unexpected.

Am soooo soory Yumna, I apologize, but I must admit that ever since I realized my error, it has been bothering me.

After a few days, my mother told me it was time for me to settle down. She just suggested your name at first, which shocked me and made me think you would reject, but I agreed to my mother's decision and also agreed to meet you. "When you first refused, I was not happy at all, and my friends were always bugging me telling me how coward I was and you were unreachable. I told them no one can say no to me when I went home."

"Did you guys not even consider me once, even though you thought I agreed and went on?"She asked me, tears rolling down her cheeks and hurt in her eyes.

Almighty, what have I done? She asked me what the dare was about even though I had only told her half of the story.

Afterwards, when I realized my error, I severed all contact with them. Later, I met Yakub and Hamza through Imran, and that is when I understood the true meaning of friendship. They were my high school friends, whom I met at both Imran's and my success party.

Trying not to cry, she asked, "What was the dare about?" I know I have betrayed her faith and trust, but she asked in a harsh voice.
