Yumna:
When Ahad offered to open the door, we stopped arguing. I stood there motionless, my eyes widening, and I looked at my aunt, who was clearly terrified and had sweat trickling from her forehead. However, Ahad had blocked my uncle's path.

My uncle had something odd in his pocket when I went to sit next to him. Ya Allah he had gun?Is Ahad even aware that his life is in danger? He only considers others before himself, not even thinking about himself.

What should I do?Everyone was just standing there giving each other death glares, especially my uncle who had been staring at us.

"Move," Uncle Ahmed commanded in a harsh, cold voice, not even displaying a hint of emotion upon seeing his wife.

My uncle narrowed his eyes and a smug smile appeared on his emotionless face, as though he was up to something. "I will not move an inch, comeon do your worst," Ahad challenged him.

Before he could approach us, his men suddenly appeared and stood by my side, placing a gun on both my aunt's and my head. "Last warning, Ahad. Do not interfere and move," he said as he approached.

"Wait, dear wife, let us tell them the truth. Keep the gun down," he mockingly said, feigning an evil laugh.

Was this uncle one of us once?

How people change?

I thanked Allah for sending such an amazing guy into my life and realized that life is too short because I had never been in such a situation before, feeling so scared and tired of everything. My husband was even risking his life to save us.

She pleaded, "Please no," as though knowing the truth would break her.

"Yes, I am sure you would have told them if I had not arrived today and you had more days," but what truth were they referring to?My aunt's face paled as she was lost in thought, and Ahad's expression was one of confusion.

Prepare to hear the harsh reality as I tell you the story, Yumna.

When your parents, Imran, and my son were returning from a road trip, an accident occurred where the car crashed. Guess what? Your parents saved Imran's life by pushing him away out of the door, but my son was dead. Your parents were in a critical condition but survived the accident. When Imran was living a happy life, I grieved for my son because he was my only source of support, but your selfish parents gave everything to your brother and never considered saving my son. Then, when Imran turned fifteen, I decided that enough was enough, that Imran should suffer like I did, and I took away what was most precious to him.

With a clenched fist and tears streaming down my face, Ahad angrily replied, "What do you mean, do not beat around the bush, tell us in detail." My uncle had taken everything personally.

"They killed my son, I killed his parents in another car accident, which everyone thought was a well-planned murder," my uncle said, laughing evilly, and my aunt just stood there, not believing what she was hearing. There was complete silence.

"Now that your father is no longer with us, I will enjoy seeing you all through to the end. Our grandfather entrusted our family business to the younger son, not to me. Yumna, these were all meant for me, so I tolerated it, but our grandfather gave it to our younger brother. How unfair! Then your parents went on to kill my son! This was too much," he concluded, giving us cold looks. "This information was too much. I am so glad Imran is not here today; he could not handle all this."

He laughed like a crazy man again and said, "Now I will make Imran suffer by taking away his only sister's life infact slow painful death." My aunt was going to stop him, but I put my hand on her arm and signed "no," but my uncle turned to face us with a gun, so I closed my eyes and my hands covered my ears and heard gunfire.

I hurried as if my life depended on it after opening my eyes and seeing the man lying on the ground with blood all over his body. No, please, no.
