Ahad:
I am so afraid that she might either freak out or handle the things calmly, so when we decided to ask each other questions, I thought this was the best time to tell her rather than when she found out from someone else during Imran's engagement party.

"Loathing and keeping secrets destroys relationships; no matter how careful you are, you will eventually be discovered."

"Just think about it: would you rather she learn the truth from you or from someone else?

She was definitely in a good mood. We had decided to get to know each other two weeks prior to our arrival in Malaysia. That night, on our first night there, I told her that I would be telling her something serious. She said that she did not want to ruin our two-week honeymoon, so on our last day, we decided to get to know each other better, which is why we are sitting on our bed. Yes, you read correctly—we had an amazing time together every day. She was still shy around me, but at least she would start a conversation or give me a hug before shying away. Thank God, our two weeks are coming to an end tonight, and tomorrow we will fly back to celebrate Imran and Aisha's much-anticipated engagement. I am afraid because I do not know why Imran told me what he was up to, and I need to support him at every turn.

"Ahad!Ahad!"

I was so lost in thoughts till I heard my voice being called and saw Yumna with curiosity.

"So please don't freak out,"I took her hand in mine and told her because she loves her uncle and aunt Halima them like her own parents.

"Ahad please tell me,"I getting more curious.

"Listen I found out and did deep research and even contacted Imran about it and we are going to talk to them,"I started explaining before mentioning the names which will hurt her for while.

"Ahad can you please tell me what's happening,"Am confused she said while trying to remove her hand from my grip.

Oh no!

"After alot of research we came to a conclusion that it's your uncle and aunt behind all those two accidents,"I told her and her eyes widened and she moved away abit far.

"No!you are lying,"She said although she knew they used to have family issues with her parents.

"Yumna please calm down,"I tried to reach out to her but tears started streamong down her cheeks.

"I thought differences were cleared between them if they wanted money they would have just said and Imran would have given them anything but wh betray like this?hurt us?try to kill us and infact you?they even texted you that they will harm anyone close to us Ahad they played with us all,"She spoke while sobbing all at once, and I could feel my heart breaking to see her act this way. It is obvious that she is not used to all of this, but in the business world, you have to be aware of it, even though she was constantly hiding behind drapes.

She had red eyes by now, so I let her cry because sometimes it is healthy to let things out.

"Look, Yumna I tried to calm her down by making circles on her back and told her, "Just calm down, okay? I will be by your side. Imran has even told me he will talk to them on his engagement day."

"I appreciate you sharing it with me,"I told her that Imran was alright and that he was strong enough, but she continued, wiping her tears and saying, "These people just make people lose trust in one another."

I hugged her from behind and said, "Let us not ruin our last night," but she just cast me a sidelong glance.

Despite our past experiences together, this girl remains shy and refuses to take off her hijab in front of me. Despite this, I love her and will do my best to earn her trust tonight.

As soon as I told her, "You know you can take off your hijab around me," she merely nodded.

Just a simple nod?Did she want me to take it off?"

"What?"When I asked her in jest, all she did was smile.

"What stops you from taking the lead?"Whoa, I never thought she would tell me. I merely grinned, stepped up, and carefully took off her headscarf. Although I have seen her hair before, she seems to be hiding it a lot these days.

She just stepped closer to me, and I told her that I would be there for her in every step. I know that I used to struggle with my emotions and overcome my insecurities, but right now she and my parents are my top priorities. I gently kissed her forehead and her cheeks.

"Ahad," she muttered. I turned to face her and asked for her permission. She nodded, and we tied the knot.

Not just one heart, but both are moved by Allah when He wants them to meet.

The following day:
When I woke up, I looked at the time. Our flight is at 2:00 pm, so even though it was 5.3 am, it was still morning here.Though I know Yumna must still be sleepy, I chose to wake her up for the Fajr prayer because she is truly amazing. I moved the hair behind her ear and gently tapped her shoulder, but to no avail. I then made the decision to shave and return.

When I returned, she was seated on the bed and grinning.

"Whoa, someone is awake and grinning," I said to her, inquiring as to why she was grinning.

She got up and headed to the bathroom because she was feeling better, and I was preparing my prayer mat and hiding her long scarf behind it because she would not have liked it if I had prayed alone.

"I can not seem to find my scarf, Ahad,"I know she always likes to wear a hijab, she said as she got closer. We prayed Fajr and made supplication together, and I told her that I had stayed behind. I also asked Allah to help Imran and Yumna overcome this struggle, and I hope their uncle and aunt asked for forgiveness.

When two people express their love for one another and pray for one another during Sujood, it is the sweetest thing ever. (bow down before their creator).

Forgiving someone is sometimes motivated only by your desire to keep them in your life.

I looked at Yumna as she lay in bed, lost in thought, and I tried my hardest to be someone better for her, not the one that everyone judges.

I turned out the lights and stepped in her direction.

"Do not worry, Allah is watching us. Insha'Allah, we will figure something out," I comforted her, kissed her on the forehead, covered her up to her neck with a blanket, and turned on a fan because it was getting hot.

Since a lot was going on, I prayed before going to bed that tomorrow would go well and that Imran was not keeping anything else from us.

Thank you, Allah, for helping us. After that, we both stared at one another until sleep came.
