After school on Tuesday, I immediately went to see Mark so that I could start working at Va Va Voom. He told me that all I needed was a Va Va Voom hat and name tag and that I didn't need to wear the full uniform which included a polo and slacks. He also told me that for my first day, all I had to do was take orders and put money into the cash register. Mark is the coolest guy I've ever met hands down. When I saw my friends walk in, I greeted them like I've never seen them before.

"Good afternoon and welcome to Va Va Voom, please enjoy yourselves" I said. They all ran up to the counter and started giggling and cheering.

"Congrats Nic!" Mariah said.

"Thanks! Now, shoo! I'm at work!" I said with a laugh. When they left to sit down, I went to take some orders because I noticed that people were beginning to walk up to the counter. After I took two peoples' orders and put their money into the cash register, I saw a face that I really didn't want to see right now. Willy. He reached for my hand as he placed an order.

"Willy for real don't touch me" I hissed. He tried to reach for my hand again. "Willy. Do not touch me." He wouldn't stop. "Willy stop. No, for real, stop" I said sternly, trying not to raise my voice. "You're embarrassing me in front of a whole bunch of people."

"What's wrong? Why are you upset?" he asked quietly.

"Do you not realize that I'm at work and that I can't screw this up because its my first fucking day? I'm not like you. I don't sit at home and hang out...Do I need my girls to escort you out? Because I definitely will do that if you try to play me."
