Chapter 5

The next day was Tuesday and I was called into the principal's office before my first class even started. Oh boy.

"Ms. Maraj, I would like to know what exactly happened yesterday during your lunch period" Mr. LaGuardia said. I sighed.

"Kriml--I mean Kim--and Mariah came to sit at my table which they never do so I asked them why they decided to sit with us. Us being Candice, Robyn, Katy, Kesha, and I. And Kim was like 'Uhhh I don't see your name on it' and then Mariah was like 'Yeah Ms. Maraj or should I say Minaj' and Candice was like 'What the fuck she just say?'--excuse my language Mr. L--and then I was like 'Fuck you mean Minaj?' and then Kim was like 'Oh don't act dumb, we all know Willy broke up with you because he found out you're bi' but that wasn't true so I told her to get her facts straight and stop being a slut. That's when she threw the snapple bottle at me and it hit against the corner of my forehead so hard that it cracked and I fell backwards and then my whole head hit the floor and that's when I passed out."

"Don't you think that maybe you shouldn't have called her a slut?" Mr. L asked after listening intently to my side of the story.

"C'mon Mr.L, everyone knows she's a slut! Remember when she tried to seduce Mr. Martinez?" I said.

"I know, I know. But if you would have never said anything the fight between her, Candice, and Robyn might have never even happened."

"Robyn even jumped in? Wow. I knew it!"

"Nicki..." he said, a little annoyed that I was going off topic.

"Sorry, sorry. But I mean c'mon Mr. L, she threw a Snapple bottle at my head. That's glass. That shit hurt. Excuse my language."

"Yes, I'm aware and that is why she is expelled."

"Expelled! Woah Mr. LaGuardia I didn't know ya had it in you! When's the last time you expelled someo--" I stopped myself because I was being inappropriately excited. "Uhh, I mean, ummm....wow...that's uhh...that's awful." He arched his eyebrow. I smiled innocently.

"Okay well you will have detention from 3:00PM until 4:30PM every day this week" he said after a moment. I sighed.

"Oh gosh...fine then" I said acceptingly. "Wait hold on, what about Candice? She didn't answer any of my texts last night so I'm pretty sure she got her phone taken away....is she expelled too?"

"As much as I wanted to expel her, she isn't. But she is suspended for the rest of the week. Robyn too."

"Ugh...okay...can I go to class now?" I said.

"Yes...have a nice day Nicki Maraj."

"You too Mr. LaGuardia, you too."

I didn't know how I was gonna go the rest of the week without Robyn and Candice! Mainly Candice though. And Robyn, I didn't know she actually jumped in! And Krimlin is finally out of my life! I was happy to hear about that, but upset to hear about my friends. At least I have Katy and Kesha, they're my friends too. Oh and what about Mariah? I still need to thank her. For helping me and stuff...but wait, what is she gonna do now that her best friend is gone? Why do I care? I don't know. Ugh. So much shit.

I went to the bathroom before I went to class. The second I got into a stall I heard Mariah and someone else walk in. Mariah sounded very stressed.

"No, you know what? Fuck it. She's a dumbass and she deserved to get expelled" she said. 

"I never liked her" said the other woman.

"I was beginning to not like her a long time ago to be fucking honest. She thought she could just tell me what the fuck to do all the fucking time like no bitch, if it wasn't for me you would've never even--" Mariah stopped because I flushed the toilet. I didn't wanna eavesdrop anymore. And I wanted to thank her. I emerged from the stall. Mariah and this other girl (I didn't know her name but I've seen her before. She is very skinny and has long, curly blonde hair. She's a pretty white girl. Nice skin) had their eyes locked on me. It was awkward.
