"I am definitely going to have nightmares now," Will states as we walk up the stairs to our apartment.
"Seriously?" I laugh. "It was barely scary, lightweight," I tease him with the name.
"Just for that," He says while unlocking the door. "I'm going to put a fucking spider in your bed while you sleep,"
We walk in the door. I look towards him, extremely serious, "Don't. You. Dare,"
He just walked off laughing. I got a little nervous but I don't think he would do that...would he? I shake the thought of it out of my head. "Solace," I call out, "Are you hungry?"
"We just ate a lot of popcorn," He answered.
"so, no?"
"no, I am," He says sheepishly. I just laugh and walk into the kitchen. I search for what I can make, and decide, with all of my cooking knowledge, to make peanut butter and jelly. I ask Will what chips he wants and put them on his plate. I went over and plopped down on the couch.
"What the hell are you watching?" I laughed looking at the strange show in front of me.
"Why do you say it like that?" He laughs taking the plate from my hand.
"I don't know, look at it," I gesture to the black and white screen.
"It's 'The Giver,' It's a good movie and book, now shush," He laughed, so I shushed but then he brought the conversation back up. "Have you ever read the book?"
"Yeah," I said shortly. My explanation was about living on the streets and how the library was always open. I didn't want to get into that. "Twice, I think,"
"Oh, cool, it's a good book, I prefer series' though,"
"Yeah, at least three books," I agree.
We kept watching the movie until the end, which was really sad, whatever. "What do you want to watch now," I shrug my shoulders. Will got up to wash the dishes and joined me soon after. I had the remote in my hand and was searching through Netflix.
"You'd think Netlifx would have better shows," I mumble as I see nothing good.
"We could watch 'end of the fucking world,' I heard it was good,"
I sigh and click the show. It took awhile but was really good. I grabbed a blanket and then leaned on Will's shoulder. I was getting tired, it wasn't necessarily on purpose, it was just subconscious. It was just how we watched movies and shows. I tensed up quickly but then I felt him put his arm around me and immediately relaxed.
"You're a dork," He laughed.
"Thanks," I laugh sarcastically.
"Don't mention it," He chuckled back. I only rolled my eyes in response.
We had binged the entire season. Every last episode. The way we were sitting now, Will's head was in my lap, and I was doing one of my favorite things to do. Braid tiny braids in his golden blonde hair.
"That was a horrible ending(A/N, No spoilers, calm yourselves), like...why?"
"Yeah, it did," I laughed agreeing. Will let out a sigh.
"You know," He laughed turning his head so he was looking up at me. "These braids are extremely hard to get out sometimes,"
I laugh. "Yeah, but your hair's fun to braid," I say, grabbing another few strands and continue to braid them. "You're just going to need to learn to deal with it,"
"Could be worse," He laughed. "You could enjoy giving me tattoo's or something, so braids are nice,"
"Tattoos?" I questioned.
