"Nico, I'm sorry, but you can't seem to make ends meet if you continue to not pay your bills, I'm going to have to kick you out," The landlord spoke to me, trying her hardest to get me to pay. I simply didn't have the money.
The apartment was absolutely amazing. I loved it, and it wasn't super expensive, I needed this apartment.
"Please, Ma'am I work at a diner, I'm a college student, I don't have the money," I begged as we stood in the hallway.
"Figure it out, Mr. di Angelo," She said, handing me a stack of papers. "Do something, I can only keep you here for another month before I will be forced to kick you out,"
I nodded and walked back into my apartment. It had a second room. Might as well look for a roommate.

Okay, so, I'm making the prologue after writing 41 chapters, and still going strong. I'll probably edit this part and delete it when the stories over. Not that you need to know this.
The beginning of this story is going through major editing because while I wouldn't say I'm a Rick Riordan or anything, the first 10-15 chapters are very poorly written, but I believe the plot is written, so if you could please accept the cringe for the little bit, it gets better.
If you're here for the college AU, I'm sorry, but it's really not mentioned as much as it probably should be. I mention it like 15 times. Like it's in the background, but really not important.
All the other chapters range from 2,000 - 3,000 words, this is just the prologue, so it's super short.
