"I don't know why you want to hang out with them."

Donnie said as he and Joe approached the room to Caite Lynn and Amelia. "I say we got out to a club and pick up some honeys and have a real party."

Joe lightly knocked on the door. "I think they're a blast to hang out with."

Donnie smiled. "Ah, I get it. You have the hots for that brunette don't you?"

Joe just looked at Donnie, a smile on his face. The brunett was not the reason he was at this door, he was after the pretty blonde with the gorgeous smile. It bothered him to no end that Donnie was after her, he always got the pretty ones. And it turned his stomach to hear his band mate talk about Amelia the way he did.

Before Joe could answer, the door opened revealing Caite, from behind her they could see Amelia out on the balcony pacing back and forth, and she was on the phone and from her raised voice, they could tell is was a very heated conversation. Caite smiled and tucked a dark, curly stand of hair behind her ear. Her blue eyes sparkled when she smiled.

"Hey,what's up?"

Joe gave her a smile. "D and I were wondering if you girls would like to go and grab something to eat."

Caite smiled. "Great, I'm starved, come on in. 'Em's on the phone and should be off shortly.

She stepped aside, allowing them access. The girls room wasn't quiet as fancy as the guys, Their room only consisted of one room with two queen sized beds. The balcony door was open, allowing a warm, summer breeze into the room, blowing the curtains around. Once inside Joe and Donnie could here her one sided conversation and it was a very heated one at that.

"Why is he selling the house? I understand......I don't want to live with you and your boyfriend..I don't like him...No, I want to go to school, I was going to apply to OSU in the fall...I don't care if their are good collages in Phoenix...I am raising my voice because I have no say in my life!..since you and dad separated I feel like a damn puppet on strings. Well fine, how's this, what if I go and live with Aunt Sandie in Boston? Oh yeah watch me..." She slammed the phone down and yelled. "FUCK!" She turned around to see Joe, Donnie and Caite looking at her, she felt heat creep to her cheeks as she realized her outburst. She saw the smirk on Donnie's face. "What?"

He began to laugh. "Wow, that's some colorful vocabulary you have there Ellis."

She put a hand on her hips. "OH, yeah? How's this?" She raised her hand, stuck up her middle finger, and flipped him off. "Better?" She stormed past him and slammed the bathroom door.

Donnie smiled. "Feisty isn't she?" He was beginning to fall for this girl and it was driving him crazy. She was beautiful, smart, passionate and knew how to stand up for her self.

Joe watched as Donnie's eyes followed Amelia to the bathroom, hating the way he was looking at her. He knew Donnie, a long time. He knew what a player Donnie was, always loving the girls who threw themselves at him, than he would just toss them to the side when he got what he wanted. Amelia was to classy for that.

At the diner, Caite and Joe disappeared to go find some good songs on the jukebox, which left Donnie and Amelia alone. She avoided his gaze, lightly tapping her straw on the table and looking out the window. She felt him staring at her and she turned to look into his hazel eyes, feeling her heart quicken. He was so gorgeous, but if he even knew she was feeling this way, he'd have a field day. Plus she was having fun pushing his buttons, loving the way she flustered him.

"What?" She sniped.

Donnie looked at her. "So, you're just going to sit there and stare out the window all night?"

She shrugged and looked back out the window. "That's the plan."

Donnie slammed the table with his hands, making her jump. The glass of water splashed onto the table. "God, you're a spoiled little brat, you know that?"

She smiled. "Really? Aw, thanks. That's the best complaint I've gotten from you all night."

Donnie looked at her, seething with anger and was surprised at how turned on he was. This girl knew how to push all his buttons and from the look on her face, she was getting off on seeing him angry. He just wanted to clear off the table and take her right then and there, teach her a lesson.

"You're impossible." He got up from the table and walked over to Joe and Caite. "I'm out of here. That little witch over there is being impossible. All she does is sit there with that bad attitude of hers. I'm going to see if I can catch Jordan and Danny before they hit that club."

Like a breeze, Donnie was out of the diner, leaving Amelia sulking at the table. Joe noticed the sad look on her face as she stared out the window. It pleased him a bit to see that she brushed off all of Donnie's rotten mood.

Joe smiled at Caite. "Looks like Donnie's met his match.
