They arrived at the hotel, the guys waited in the limo as Amelia and Ali walked up to her room that was located on the 10th floor. The company spared no expense and she was put up into a one bed room suite.
"So, it this gonna be awkward with you and Donnie?" Ali asked as they walked into Amelia's spacious room, which overlooked downtown LA.
Sitting on the table was a welcome basket filled with fruit and nuts. A bottle of champagne sat chilling in the bucket.
Amelia opened her suitcase and took out a pair of jeans, a black corset style top and her boots. She took off her blazer, laying it on the bed. "No, I've learned to distance myself."
Ali sat on the bed. "Donnie's in a real bad relationship right now. Him and Jen are having problems. She's really jealous."
Amelia slid on her jeans and looked at Ali. "Why are you telling me this?"
"She seems to go after anyone close to Donnie. Especially females. With your past with him, I'd sleep with one eye open. That's why we needed a new assistant. She drove the other one away."
Amelia slid on her boots. "Well, you don't have to worry about me. I know how to take care of myself."
Ali smiled and got up from the bed. "I have a feeling you and I will get along just fine. Come on, we better go or the guys will send a search party after us."
Amelia grabbed her clutch purse, took one last look in the mirror and followed Ali down to the elevators where they chatted as they rode it down to the lobby. At the thought of seeing Joe again, her heart picked up a little more speed.
Amelia stepped out of the door to see the guys standing around near the couches and she stopped in her tracks as she noticed a woman standing next to Donnie. She was tall, had dark skin and hair , and gorgeous.
Donnie's eyes landed on Amelia and he did a sweep with his eyes and gave her a smile. "Good to see you. Glad you decided to join us." He stepped a bit away from the woman who was hanging on him. "I'd like you to meet Jen. Jen, this is a very dear friend of mine, Amelia."
Jen looked Amelia over and gave her a look like she was something on the bottom of her shoe. She stared at Amelia's hand as she presented it. "His wife."
When Jen didn't take her hand, Amelia put it down and smiled. "Well, very nice to meet you."
Jen gave her another look and focused her attention on Donnie, putting her arms around his neck, making a show out of the affection. She was letting Amelia know, that this was her man. "Are we going out tonight? I sooooo need a drink"
Donnie turned to see Amelia, but she was over talking to Danny and Joe and he watched as she interacted with them, feeling a little bit jealous as she touched Joe's shoulder. "Yeah. We better get going."
*** She sat in the booth and watched as Donnie and Kim danced. She couldn't help but notice the way she danced oh him, grinding her lower half up against him. She took her Tequila and downed it, grimacing at the burn in her throat.
"So, what's it gonna take to get you out there?"
Amelia tore her gaze away from the dance floor to see that Joe had sat next to her and she half smiled. "I don't dance."
Joe smiled at her. "Oh come on Shorty, everyone dances."
Joe took her hand and led her onto the dance floor, where an up beat song came over the speakers and he put his hands on her hips as they began to dance.
Ali and Danny were dancing next to Amelia and Joe and she bumped him and made him look to see Joe and Amelia.
Donnie looked over to see Amelia dancing and forgot about Jen. In the middle of the dance floor was a cage and Amelia grabbed Ali's hand and the two girls stepped up into the cage.
Amelia held onto the pole and slowly danced around it, sliding her body down it and then slowly back up, making eye contact with Joe the whole time. She moved her hips slow and wrapped her legs around the pole.
People who were next to the two girls in the cage, stopped what they were doing and whistled at the two girls as they danced on each other.
Joe was all smiles as he watched Amelia dancing in the cage, letting all her inhibitions go. He leaned over to Danny. "Damn that girls got some moves."
Danny smiled at Joe and gave him a thumbs up. Jen sighed and crossed her arms, rolling her eyes. "Oh please."
After the song was over, the entourage made it back to their tables and Amelia gulped down a rum and Coke that Joe had gotten for her. He put an arm around her. "Babe, where in the hell did you learn to dance like that?"
Amelia was feeling the buzz of the alcohol and stood up and moved her hips. "Boys, I've got moves you haven't seen yet."
Ali laughed and high five her. "Hell yeah!"
As Amelia and Ali joked around with the guys, Amelia getting more and more flirty with Joe, Donnie tried his best to ignore it. He watched Joe and Amelia flirt with each other, he felt something he hadn't felt in a long time. Jealousy.
They ended up staying until the club closed and Donnie hung back while Amelia walked into the lobby of the hotel. She was checking her phone messages and not paying attention. Joe was next to her cracking a joke about something and when Amelia looked up, the smile fell from her face and all the color drained from it as well.
Donnie looked to see what could have caused that and there standing in front of her was a man about six foot three, wavy blonde hair and blue eyes. There was nothing friendly at all about his demeanor and Donnie watched as he stormed up to Amelia.
"Where the hell have you been?" He grabbed her arm so tightly, she let out a cry.
