Amelia stopped in her tracks and looked up from her phone to see the man coming towards her. The anger in his blue gray eyes made her take a step back, right into Joe.

" I was O..out."

The man looked at the group, than at Amelia. "With them?"

"Yes." She nodded. Her body was shaking with fear and Joe noticed this.

Before anyone could react, the man raised his hand and slapped Amelia. She took a step back, almost tripping over Joe's feet. Since he was closer to her, he had more time to react.

He grabbed the man by the collar and slammed him into the wall. "Did you just do what I think you did?"

Ali took Amelia by the hand. "Come on, let's get you upstairs."

Amelia was in hysterics as the man lunged for her. He was prevented from touching her because of Joe's grip on his collar. "You are nothing but a bitch and a whore."

Ali had just calmed Amelia down, she was sleeping on the bed, when there was a knock at the door. She looked through the peephole to see Joe and Danny.

"Hey." She opened the door.

Joe's eyes held a look of concern as he looked past Ali to see Amelia sound asleep. When the man up and hit her, he felt his blood boil and he wanted to kill that jerk. "How is she?"

Ali sighed, tucking a dark curl behind her ear. "She's finally asleep."

"Who the hell was that?" Danny whispered.

Ali looked at Joe, than at Danny. "That was Justin, Amelia's ex. He's extremely jealous and won't give up the fact that she broke up with him. She has no idea how he found her. She didn't tell him where she was."

Danny smiled. "Well..we have security keeping an eye out for her, so she's safe."

Ali watched as Joe's attention was on the bed where Amelia was sleeping. She smiled and hugged Danny.

"Thank you."

He tossed and turned that night, unable to sleep. The previous evenings activities played in his mind like a movie and he didn't know how to make it stop. He wanted to go to her, comfort her. But he couldn't. Not with Jen near his side.

Instead, he watched as Joe took his place.

The other reason he couldn't sleep, his roommate, Jordan, was snoring.

He finally got up and put on some jeans, a white T-shirt and flip flops. He grabbed the hotel key that was lying on the dresser. He took the elevator to the lounge to see if it was open.

The restaurant was 24 hour, but the bar had been closed for hours. A handful of people sat at the tables, sipping on coffee. When he walked inside, he heard a piano playing, but he didn't recognize the song.
