April 2008, 14 years after New Kids Broke Up

"So, you are still taking this job?"

She had been packing things into her suitcase, when she heard the voice of her boyfriend. She closed her eyes, hoping there wasn't going to be another fight.

Justin Miller was a few years older than her, a pretty boy type. He had blonde hair and a nice physique, but that's all that was attractive about him. Two months into their relationship, Justin changed, and became controlling, and verbally and emotionally abusive.

He was standing in the doorway of her bedroom, his arms crossed, anger in his eyes.

"This is the opportunity I've been waiting for Justin. I'm going to be a PA. This is what I went to school for. I finally get to get in the music bizz. Who knows, maybe I'll get that singing career."

"In other words," Justin walked into the room standing near her. He towered over her, his grey blue eyes dancing with anger. "You're going to be a gopher.'

She sighed and walked to her closet and grabbed her garment bag and placed it on the bed. "No, Justin. That's not what I'll be doing. I'll be in charge of setting up interviews, stuff like that."

Justin sighed. "Can I visit you in Boston?"

Amelia smiled and walked up to him, stood on her tiptoes and kissed him. "She knew in her heart, Justin wouldn't wait for her. "Sure."

Justin sighed. "Fine." He pulled away from her embrace and left her standing in the bedroom. With a heavy sigh, she completed her packing, not really sure how long she would be gone. And did she really care? There was nothing left for her here in Phoenix. Nothing but bad memories and heart ache.

She stepped off the plane, threw her carry on over her shoulder, straightened her skirt and jacket and walked down the corridor, excitement gripping her.

Her boss wouldn't tell her who she would be working for, because Dave Miller's approach to success, was not telling his employees their assignments. He believed that if they knew before hand they would be worked up and there fore not do a good job.

Her mind raced through all the possibilities. She knew it was a band she would be working for and her mind raced as she thought of all the possibilities. Bon Jovi, Dave Matthews or even the Backstreet Boys.

She stepped into the terminal to see a sign with her name on it. The man holding the sign was tall with dark hair and a black suit with a white shirt. She approached him and extended her hand. "Hi, I'm Ms. Harris."

The man smiled and took her hand and looked her over from head to toe. "Ms. Harris, nice to finally meet you. Mr. Miller has said such good things about you. I'm Mark Weller. Let's go grab your things and drop them off at the hotel and go to the set and you can meet the New Kids"
