After what went down with Sherry, things got better between Piper and me. Well, sort of, let me explain.

We started hanging out more and started getting closer, but every time it seemed like we would kiss, someone would ruin it. I finally tired of it and went for it once and for all. What's the worse that can happen? Don't answer that?

I came walking down the hall and saw her with some guy. Are you freaking kidding me?

That was it. I would not lose my chance again because I had some weird hang up. Thank you, Dad.

Something inside of me exploded, and it caused me to think irrationally. I walked over to Piper and the guy, "Excuse us," I said as I grabbed her arm and pulled her away.

"Lex!" Piper yelled.

I dragged her to an empty classroom and shut the door. Extreme, I know, but I didn't care.

"Lex, what the hell is your problem?" Piper yelled.

"Me?" I yelled back.

"Yes, you! After everything I told you about Roger, why would you do that?" Piper asked me

"Because!" I yelled.

"Because, why?" Piper asked.

"Because I'm tired of seeing you with another guy!" I yelled at her.

"Why?" She yelled.

"What?" I yelled back.

"Why should it bother you? It's not like we are together! You won't even make a move and ask me out! So why should it bother you who I talk to, Lex? Newsflash, we aren't together!" She spat.

"Because," I started to say.

"Because why, Lex? Huh? Why?" She moved closer as I turned my back to her. "I can't hear you! Why?"

I whipped around, "Because I'm in love with you!"

She stopped and looked at me, shocked. "What?"

"I'm in love with you," I whispered. I looked away.

"Then show me," she challenged. I looked at her and closed the gap. She wants me to show her? Fine, I'll show her.

I pulled her to me, and with that, our lips connected. Explosions set off inside me as I deepened the kiss. I threw everything I had into that kiss.

She wrapped her arms around my neck as I wrapped my arms around her waist, tightening them as she kissed me back. Her lips were so soft.

As we kissed, I flicked my tongue against her lips as she parted them and slid it into her mouth. Our tongues swirled around each other as we continued our kiss. All that time of wanting to kiss her and here I was kissing her. It was better than I expected. It was more.

"Well, it's about damn time," we heard someone yell. We broke from our kiss and turned to see my sisters and cousins smirking at us.

"What can I say? I like to take my time," I smirked as Piper giggled.

"Take your time? Bro, Grammy will turn one hundred and fifty before you two stopped dancing around your feelings and make a move," Luna retorted.

"Wait, isn't she already one hundred and fifty?" Beau asked them.

"No, I think she is a hundred," Brody answered.

"Do you mind?" I asked them, giving them a look.

"Nope, you go right ahead. We quite enjoy the Lex and Piper show," Kaiden grinned.

I just rolled my eyes as I pulled away from her, but I didn't wholly release her. I slid my hand into hers and intertwined our fingers.
