"I have come through the door like a hero!" And with that, the class had begun. All Might had walked through the door, wearing his costume from his silver age. Everyone was talking amongst themselves, seeming way more than excited that All Might would be one of our teachers. The current class was basic hero training, and if I'm being honest, it's the class that I'm most nervous of having to take. All Might's next words were what startled me more than everything. "Today, we will be doing battle training!"
I gulped, nervously glancing down at my desk. "For your training, you will need these." Compartments came from the wall, and everyone's cheering only worsened my nerves. "Costumes!" Fretfully, I paced over to the extended wall, grabbing the compartment labeled 21, as that was my assigned number. I followed the other girls to the change rooms, hesitating to put on my costume, fearing they would see the resemblance to my parents' costumes in mine.
(Please excuse the rushed sketch. This is just the idea I had while thinking of your costume, and I didn't have time to sketch another. Feel free to change it as you see fit.)
I glanced at my costume in the mirror, trying to see if anything looked out of place. The vizor had been heavily influenced by my the vizor on my biological fathers original costume, and many details had been inspired by my mothers costume, such as the many areas coloured black and dark gray. The main colour was (F/C), though. I had originally planned for the scarf to be a lot more like Dad's, but I decided against it. The belt around my waist was adorned in small energy capsules, so that I'd be able to store excess energy I had absorbed from the emotions of people around me so that the excess energy wouldn't be contained in my hands and arms.
I had noticed that most of the girls had already finished changing and had left, so after I made sure everything was put on correctly, I made my way outside as well. Almost immediately, I spotted Uraraka speaking with Midoriya, and I quickly walked over to them. "Y-your guy's costumes look great!" I complimented, stuttering slightly. "Oh, (Name)-chan! You're costume looks so cool! Right, Deku?" Uraraka beamed, and I turned, slightly embarrassed. Midoriya nodded, seemingly flustered as well.
Now that I looked at Midoriya's costume, I noticed it resembled a certain hero as well. 'At least I'm not alone in that sense.' I thought while smiling. Before I was able to mention it, Iida spoke up. "Sir, I noticed that this is the same location as the entrance exams. Will we once again be practicing outdoor maneuvering?" He asked, and I took note of his appearance. His costume looked cool as well. Actually, everyone's costume seemed super cool now that I thought about it.
"No, today we will be moving on to step two, indoor anti-personnel battle training!" A nervous expression made it's way onto my face. "Villain battles are almost always seen outdoors, but the most dangerous villains are much more likely to appear indoors." I tuned out the next of his words, wondering how it would all play out. "You will now be separated into two teams, the villain team and the hero team, and face off in two-on-two indoor battles!"
