Just a quick note, instead of using the Second Person perspective, this story will be written in the first person! Anyways, here we go!

(Name) POV
I just know that today is going to be great! If you want to know why, it's because I'm going to be five years old! Today is really special, because Mommy and Daddy aren't working, which means I'll be able to spend time with them! I usually never get to see them, because of their hero work, and I usually spend the day all alone, or with Uncle Shouta, but today, I'm finally going to be able to spend a whole day with them!

I started off the day as almost any five year old would. I woke up with the sun blinding me. Still feeling tired, I rubbed my eyes. The door gently creaked open, and I saw my parents walking in with smiling faces. "Happy birthday, my tiny little hero!" Mom said, scooping me up in her arms. I giggled in a cheerful way as she passed me to Dad, who spun me around in circles within the air.

"Alright (Name), since it's your birthday, what would you like to do?" Dad asked me, and I tapped my chin while trying to look like I was deep in thought, when secretly, I already knew what I wanted to do. Finally, I voiced my thoughts. "Can we go to the park? All of us can play, and it'll be really fun! Oh, oh, could we have lunch there too? And can I see your quirks again? Oh, maybe my quirk will finally develop!" Both of them laughed, mainly because I asked for the same thing every year. Just a day where I could be with both my parents.

We had made our way to a local park. It had lots of trees, and even a small pond. We always had our lunch by that pond, right under the biggest tree. I was skipping ahead of Mommy and Daddy, and they were talking about something behind me. I always thought it was so cool that my parents were heroes! I turned around to look at them, and I smiled a huge smile. I guess my positive attitude affected them too, because they were smiling right back at me.

The day went on like any normal birthday. We went out, had lunch in the park, and both Mommy and Daddy played games with me, and to top it off, they even showed off their quirks to me! Mom could manipulate the energy around her and make objects with it, and Dad had some super telekinesis stuff, and he could control stuff with his mind! I was a late bloomer, and both Mommy and Daddy said I showed signs of my quirk, but it hadn't appeared for me yet. Maybe it was scared? Either way, I couldn't wait until it finally appeared.

It wasn't until we got home that Dad started acting weird. He was shaking, and I was worried. Mom, however, was still really happy. I looked over at Dad, and I imagined what he was thinking. Was he mad? He was always so nice, and the only way I could think of him being mad would be if he was fighting some villains. I like it when everyone is happy, so I hoped he wasn't mad. Dad looked at me in almost a mean way, and I hadn't ever seen him do that, so why did he do it now. Why was Dad upset?

I walked up to him, gently tugging on his shirt, signalling that I wanted to ask him something. He looked down at me with a scary expression on his face, and seemed to pause for a moment before speaking. "Yes, what is it?" The scary expression faded. In my head, I thought about what could have happened if he did get angry. Once I did that, he was shaking again. "D-Daddy, why are you shaking again? Are you upset? I'm really sorry if I did something."

His glare seemed to flicker between anger and nothing. I only looked up at him with a scared look. Mom walked into the room we stood in, and looked at us. "Hey, Eiyuji, you aren't sick, are you?" She asked, feeling his forehead, only for him to smack her arm away. "I'm fine, I just feel a bit dizzy."

He sent her a glare that sent chills down my spine. My tiny body was trembling, and right now, I thought maybe something bad was happening, and that's why he didn't feel good. Yeah, it's probably just a villain that made him mad and now he doesn't feel good about it. That's when it happened. He snapped, his quirk activating. My mother began to freeze in place, and she couldn't move an inch. "Eiyuji, what are you doing?" My Mom asked in a scared way. The way my Dad looked, I would never unsee. He was blinded by rage, his eyes clouded with it. I could only see him in that light at the moment. "Shut your DAMN MOUTH!" He screamed.
