The kitchen was bigger than Alexis thought it would be. On one side was a full length counter with a microwave in the corner and cabinets above it. The other side had a stove, fridge, the sink, very little counter space and even more cabinets above. Across from where she stood was a window that was floor to ceiling. Right in front of window was a circular oak wood table that could seat up to four people comfortably. On the table were boxes of pizza along with a verity of drink options. In one of the chairs was one of the boys that she had seen multiple times by now. The one who had the dyed hair that never looked tamed. Also if he was here then that must make him a roommate or just a friend who came over.

Ashton walked over to the table and took a seat next to the boy. Slowly walking towards the table herself, Alexis took a seat away from the boy and Ashton when she got there. As soon as her bottom was planted on the chair she was asked again what kind of pizza she wanted.

“Ah,” she stammered looking from Ashton to the boy and back to Ashton. Both of them looked at her with raised eyebrows. It was like saying what kind of pizza she wanted was the most important thing to them right now.

“Cheese,” she finally said, giving them a half smile.

“You’re kidding right?” laughed the dyed hair, pale skinned guy. “Pepperoni is way better than just plain old cheese.” With that he reached for a slice of pepperoni pizza and took a bite.

“Michael, she likes cheese pizza like me. See how much the two of us have in common.” Ashton then pushed the box of cheese pizza towards Alexis.

Taking a slice, she set it down on one of the paper plates there were also on the table. Reaching for a napkin, she tried not to make eye contact with either guy. It did not work since when they spoke up, Alexis found herself looking up at them. Looking at someone when they spoke was polite and she was raised with some sort of manners.

Nibbling away at the cheese pizza, she listened to them talk about TV shows, movies and video games. Not once did their band come up or the fact that she was here. It seemed like having the girl who almost got you Deleted would come up at some point.

“Are you two roommates or do you just like to hang out at the other person's place?” Alexis asked when there seemed to be a break in the conversation.

“Roommates,” both of them answered at the same time.

“Oh, okay. I was just wondering.” Taking another bite, she made it so she had her mouth full and could not talk. Another rule she had learned growing up; never talk with your mouth full.

“You plan on coming over here often?” asked Michael out of the blue, leaning back in his chair.

A hint of pink showed up in her cheeks and she knew it. “No, but since you two are members of the same band and have to work together I thought that you may not want to live with each other.”

“Not all of us live in one apartment. Gosh, that place would be a wreck,” Ashton said, laughing at the thought of it. “Michael and I live here and next door is where Luke and Calum live. It all works out fine if you ask me. We do have out issues from time to time, but nothing we can’t get past.”

“Do you live with anyone Alexis?” Michael started to rock back and forth in the chair. At some point it would tip over backwards and he would hit his head. “Oh and in case you were wondering how I know your name it is thanks to Ashton saying it every ten minutes. He would not shut up about you taking his hoodie because of some ordeal with a bra and having sex. It did not help with the headache I was having a few hours ago.” Michael then proceeded to glare at Ashton for a moment before turning his attention back on her.
