After confessing to both Paisley and Michael, the entire of having a real relationship with Ashton no longer scared Alexis. In fact, she took it upon herself to go ahead and let Brooklyn, Danielle, Aunt Bea and Uncle Jay know that she was dating someone. Like she expected Brooklyn and Danielle were pissed off, but then calmed down when they got word that Paisley had a thing for Michael. As for Aunt Bea and Uncle Jay, they were surprised and only wanted to know when they could meet Ashton. That was a question that Alexis could not answer right away, so she promised to get back to them.

Even though the people closest to Alexis knew about her boyfriend, the rest of the world did not. There was no relationship status change on any of the social media sites and whatever pictures she took were kept on her phone and never sent out to the World Wide Web. Honestly, it still surprised that the fans had not found out who she was yet. There were several people questioning who she was and where she came from and if she had the right to even be near Ashton, but all of this was based off that one day when she was with Ashton when the fans were waiting outside the apartment complex. There was no real evidence that she was official with Ashton, or not yet at least. Alexis had np doubt in her mind that at some point someone would slip up and say something online about her relationship with Ashton.

So, while waiting for the day to come when the semi-secret was revealed to the world, Alexis often found herself nowhere else but work or at Ashton's apartment. This did cause her aunt and uncle to worry, since they were still protective of her even if she was a legal adult.

Tucking her legs underneath her body, Alexis pushed some random strands of hair out of her face. "You really want to announce that we are dating to the fans, don't you?" Alexis asked, trying not to let the frown be a permanent addition to her expression.

"Well, yeah," replied Ashton. Taking a seat next to Alexis, he wrapped his arm around her shoulders and pressed a kiss to the side of her head. "The fans are like family to me and the boys, so it seems fitting that I tell them."

A warning bell went off in Alexis's head, telling her that she should try and shut the idea ASAP. Having the fans who were like family was sweet, but all families were judgmental. One person could approve, but everyone else could disapprove.

Alexis did not get the chance to fight for her opinion on the matter, since Ashton decided to stun her with a question that she should have seen coming at some point.

"Will you go on a date with me?" he asked, a slightly nervous smile on his face.

"A date with you?" Alexis laughed lightly and nodded her head. "Sure, that sounds great, but I thought we have already gone on dates before."

"Those were not real dates. They were just places that we hung out."

"Okay, well what about the kisses?"

"Those were half kisses. Both of them were real, but were more of a tactic to get you to slowly fall for me. That means that our next kiss, which will be on our first real date, will be our second kiss. After all, two halves make a whole," Ashton pointed out with a no longer nervous smile on his face.

Rolling her eyes, Alexis pushed his shoulder in a teasing way. "Whatever helps you sleep at night. I think you fell for me and then I just agreed because you are cute."

Rising an eyebrow, Ashton kept the smile on his face. "I am only cute? Gee, thanks," he said, holding a hand up to his heart as if it was in pain.

"Be quiet," Alexis mumbled, letting a smile of her own show up. "You are not cute then but straight up dashing, sexy or whatever adjective you want me to use to describe you."

For that Ashton went ahead and pulled Alexis onto his lap, wrapping his arms around her delicate frame. Pressing a few kisses to the top of her head, he sighed afterword. "Our first date is going to be freaking awesome."
