Dear Future Son,
Welcome to the world of immense love and cruelty, whichever way you choose to look at it.
I would like to acquiant you with your superpower which is to make a difference by just being here: good or bad, depends on you.
This world will expect alot from you sometimes, and nothing at all the others.
As you grow, you will learn the rules of being masculine but amongst all those confused and sophisticated concepts, I do not want you to change yourself just to fit in. I know you will have a really hard time "being you," All your friends and society will try to carve you in a figure, you are totally opposite of.
But I hope, I really hope you turn out to be strong enough, no- not the muscles and bones strong but the heart and soul strong to fight those battles and be the gentle one.
Yes my dear, I want you to be the "gentle one," they will tell you that you should be full of rage because oh well, You are not a girl but I want to tell you being sensitive makes you a human and isn't really a threat to your manliness.
I do not want you to hide under a hundred layers of tough exterior,
I do not want you to hide your tears during movies,
I do not want you to hide your fear of darkness,
I do not want you to waste yourself away in alcohol and weed just to turn your feelings off and sound "cool."
I want you to feel, because "feelings" are the most beautiful parts of being a homo-sapien.
I want you to talk of poetry when everybody else talks of race-cars and football matches. I want you to paint the world red in the colours you love even if It's, "pink."
I want to know the names of all the spices in the kitchen and not know a thing about engine.
I want you to be fragile and vulnerable and any goddamn thing you want to be in the world, but a kind one, a kind man, a kind human.
