The One whose Love felt like Poetry

Dear Love,

You came in slow waves, you kissed away the dirt off my feet when I stood in the shore, with every inch of my hope dying into ache and heartbreak.

Those blue waters deep in your eyes surrounded in white froth saved me.

The softness and tenderness you treated me with, saved me.

Your coolth and warmth touched me without even making a contact with my skin.

You cradled me with the wind in you as if I was a feather that was never meant to touch the ground.

I can't ever thank you enough, for loving me, for making me feel like the sun and letting me confide in you by drowning in the horizon, for telling me that I made your waters glitter with the  whatever little light was left in me to impart.

Thank you for believing in me like the moon does rely on the sun,

I started relying on you for my shine for I knew the sun could never betray the moon.

And so they met every dawn and dusk and when they did not meet, the universe lay in darkness.

Thank you for setting tiny stars all over my soul and praising each virtue of it, by making me believe that my love was all the world ever needed.

And so you wanted me to open my arms and never my legs, for you wanted to be home and you knew you were already inside me before even trying to enter me.

Love,
R.
