Y'all don't understand how funny Ruby's situation with him and getting his own room was for me. As a Mexican American who lives in Cali with a bunch of my fam I laughed my ass off because I literally went through the same thing. And most families go through this in Cali too. Houses here are hella expensive even if they only have two rooms and are old af. They be a billion dollars and shit. My abuela lived with us for awhile not to mention my younger siblings and parents. I had to share a room with my abuela just like Ruby while my little brother and sister slept in their own room and my parents had to make the living room their room. I was so mad because I've been wanting my own room forever and when my parents said I finally could my abuela moved in with us. I just love that this show is so relatable for everything. I felt like I was watching my own neighborhood through security cameras lmao. And Ruby is literally my younger cousin? My cousin is a freshman in high school and he's such a beauty queen. He always has to have his hair all nice and the best looking clothes and the best smelling cologne. And he's such a ladies man? This boy is obsessed with all the pretty girls. And he's hella smart too. He's really good when it comes to technology and math. The only thing he doesn't have in common with Ruby is that my cousin is extremely tall. It's crazy how similar they are tho.
