People who are complaining about the culture and things that happen in the show need to shut the fuck up. You know nothing about the lifestyle in the hood. It ain't gonna be sunshine and rainbows. If you want some happy cheerful young teens coming of age shit watch a white suburban tv show. You need to understand that the place they live in is normal for them. It may not be for you but it is for them. So those of you who are complaining that Monse and Cesar are too young to be having sex need to back the fuck up. In the hood the youth are forced to grow up at a fast rate. They go through things that you probably won't in your whole life. These kids are already aged by their surroundings. In the hood it's normal for kids as young as 12 to have sex. My cousin lost her virginity at 12. It's NORMAL for us here in the hood. The young drinking, the sex, the smoking, all of it. All the things that that happen in On My Block is NORMAL for people in the hood. It's actually the first real authentic show that represents life in the hood for the youth. At the end of the day don't talk shit if you don't know shit.
