I drink some Coke and Alison eats the popcorn.The movie on TV is boring - something about stepbrothers.
"This movie reminds me of a old story." I say, bored.
"Well, it reminds me of a real story." Ali sighs, with emphasis on the word "real".
"Really?" I ask, trying to start a dialogue.
"Yes.But my mother would kill me if I talked about it so I better keep my mouth shut." she answers.
"Ali." I say, knowing she's hiding something. "What is going on?"
"Just ask your dad." she gives me a smirk.
"Ali, stop.Tell me what's going on."
"You really want to know?" she asks, raising an eyebrow.
"Tell me!" I say.
"This won't be easy Spence.But someone had to tell you." there is a fake sadness on her voice. She sighs. "Jason is your half brother.My mom and your dad...they had a affair."
I am shocked, my heart is beating so loud that she might be able hear it.
"Haha, so funny." I roll my eyes. "Ali, if you want to tell a joke, at least tell a funny one."
"I am being serious Spencer." Ali stares at me.And I know she is not lying.
"Why didn't you tell me before?" I am crying. Alison hugs me.
"I am sorry.I know how hard it is.But all we can do is accept it." she whispers.
This isn't Alison DiLaurentis.She is not like this.But I just let it go, enjoying the moment.
That's it.Jason DiLaurentis is my half brother.
