Chapter 16 - Don't Trust Me

Spencer

            As I walk in the school hallway, a bunch of looks, full of pity, are directioned to me.Mona Vanderwaal and her friends, Phi Templeton and Chassey Bledsoe, walk to me.

          "Spencer, I'm sorry." she says. "If you need a friend, I'm here."

          "Yeah." Phi and Chassey say in unison.

          "Thank you." I smile.But I don't know what's going on.

         I walk to the patio, searching for Ali and the girls.I found them, talking in a table.Aria is not there.

         Then I see her.With Toby, in a dark corner.They both are talking with an worried look in their faces.Suddenly, everybody is looking at me.Pity, again.Alison is looking at me too, smirking.

         I raise an eyebrow as Emily rolls her eyes and Hanna sighs.Now, Toby and Aria are looking at me, still worried.She bites her lip.I walk to the girls.

        "Hey" I say.When I'm about to sit in the empty seat, Hanna puts her bag in it.

        "Sorry, it's busy." she says.

        "Go sit with the Cavanaugh." Emily says meanly.

        "What is going on?" I say.

        "Ask Toby." Alison smirks.

        "Ali..." I whisper.Oh no. "You said that you- "

        "I think that you didn't learned the lession.Remember about the Library Thing , Emily?" she laughs.I remember about when Alison told me and the girls about Emily sexuality. "Don't trust me."

        "Why you did that?" I ask.

        "This school was so boring.We need some fun." she laughs again.

        "God, you are so bitchy." I say.

        "God, you are so fake" Emily says, and Hanna and Alison starts to laugh. "Liar."

        "What's the problem with that?" I say. "Everybody thought he was a creep, but what about I tell what really happened?"

        "Do you really need to be more humiliated?" Hanna says. "Get out."

        "Hey, what happened to the girl who told me how she felt about all the times that Alison bullied her?" I say, shocked.This can't be happening. "She became skinny, and now that Alison is back, she thinks that Alison will not tease her  anymore?"

        "Spence, lets go." I hear Aria's voice behind me.She puts her hands in my shoulders. "It will be better to you."

        Toby is behind her.They both walk me to an empty room.I am holding my tears now.They hug me.

        "Shh.It will be all okay.You can cry if you want." Aria says.

        "I will not let they see me crying." I say.

        "Hey, I love you.That's all that matters.I am here to you." Toby kisses me.

        "Toby is right.Don't give that bitch the pleasure of see you sad." Aria try to smile.

        "Can I sleep in your house tonight?" I ask her.Now I'm crying.

        "Of course.I will let you guys alone." she smiles and kisses my forehead.

        "You're really tiny and I love you." I smile and hug her.Aria smiles.

        "Bye.Take care of her, or I will rip your head off with not regrets." she says to Toby and we all laugh.My tears are gone.

        When Aria leaves the room, I hug Toby, smiling, and close my eyes.The last thing I see is Alison's pissed face when she sees my smile.
