CHAPTER 46 part 1
JANICA’S POV
I’m still here, stucked on the playground watching Todd and the two young girls play.
I wiped my tears that are continuously flowing from my eyes down to my cheeks, I shouldn’t cry over a thing that isn’t so clear yet. But how come those things that are not clear can make me hurt and angry at the same time?
“Jani... hey! what happened to you?”-nag-aalalang tanong ni Darius sakin, nadatnan kasi niya ako na nagpupunas ng luha...
“H-huh? N-nothing... napuwing lang ako”-palusot ko sa sakanya but I know, he didn’t buy what I said.
“I know there’s something wrong but I won’t ask anymore. It’s pretty obvious that you don’t want to tell me”-he said at pinako nalang niya ang tingin niya sa anak niyang naglalaro, samantalang ako, dun parin sa dalawang batang babae ako nakamasid.
Maya-maya pa, magkabati na naman ulit yung magkapatid, parang kanina lang nagkakatampuhan pa sila dahil mas pinansin ni Todd yung isa. Mas lalong bumigat ang dibdib ko at nalungkot sa ganung nangyari.
Kids quarrel for a while but they will reconcile so fast and forget the reason why they even argued. It’s just so sad that as a person grows older, it goes with growing up the learning of things that misunderstandings and life complications are things that cannot be fixed by just sharing toys and giving candies. How I wish, we stayed forever as a kid, cause now I know, that person hates me now... I hate my dad for what he did, I hate my mom for letting it happen, and I hate myself for forgetting all about that person...
“Darius, can we go out after work?”-bigla ko nalang nasabi.
“W-what do you mean by going out?”-he doubtfully asked me. Malabo ba yung nasabi ko?
“Okay I’ll make it clearer for you to understand”-ginaya ko yung favorite line niya pag ako naman yung hindi makaintindi ng sinasabi niya... “Go out on a DATE, I guess?”-nanlaki pa ang mata niya...
