*Nevada’s P.O.V*

My heading kept throbbing but I slowly managed to open my eyes. Looking around I realized I wasn’t in my own room. Hold up… I wasn’t even in my house! I turned to my side and examined the bed I was lying on. The bed was humongous! The sheets were so neat and fresh, it didn’t even seem as if I were laying on them. I got up and a sharp pain shot from my head to my chest. Ignoring it, I gradually walked around the room. Most of the walls in the room were windows and outside is a meager patio. I slid the windows open and stepped onto the patio. Surrounded by cream colored candles that light up the starlit nightfall. I took a step back from the railing and admired the scene.

“Beautiful.” I whispered to the sky.

“Welcome to my home Nevada.” I jumped out of my skin. Turning around to see Jeff sitting shirtless on the white lounge chair behind me.

“You scared me.” I sat in the chair beside him and curled up my feet into my arms.

Swiftly, he switched from the chair he was sitting on, to the table in front us. Now he was facing me playing around with my toes.

“I’m sorry, next time I’ll knock.” He cracked a smile still facing down at my toes.

“Jeff, why am I here? What happened?” I pulled my toes slightly away from his reach.

“You passed out. I didn’t understand what was going on, so I took you to Slenderman. I thought he would be upset that I was even still talking to you, but when he saw your faced he almost passed out as well.” Jeff started laughing silently to himself.

“Why?” I leaned into Jeff’s face wanting to know more.

“He said you aren’t just a human. You have a gift. One that no one at the Acrasia has. You are Diverse.” Jeff looked up to my face, pushing my hair out of my face.

“Jeff, I do not understand.” I held his hand. They were ice cold but I didn’t care I needed someone. Anyone.

“I know. Listen.” He flew up from the table.

“You remember the story that I told you before you blanked out?” I nodded my head. I remembered every detail.

“Well centuries ago I met a guy named Slenderman. He saw me for who I was and what I was becoming. He told me that he could control my blood crave in a more “humane” way, he said that there are more out there just like me. But, Slender also said that I was slightly different from the rest. I am a Host. Which is the reason why I have these weird abilities.” Jeff jotted back down in front of me on the table.

            “Like your unnatural speed?”

“Yeah, also immortality and this…” Jeff grabbed my arm and pulled me snug in-between his legs.

“Hey! What was that for?” I squealed at his face.

He placed his hand over my mouth.

“Look.” Pointing at the chair that just seconds ago I was curled up on. My eyes stared blankly at what Jeff had done. The chair became ice!
