Nevada’s P.O.V

I watched as Jeff sped from the back of the car to the camp site then back again. A chill ran down my spine.

I’m freezing.

Sitting in the car while Jeff…created whatever he was creating…was comfortable to an extent, but knowing that I would have to go out into the frosty cold made me shiver from my shoulders to my ass. I leaned my head into the window shield closing my eyes…slowly drifting…

TAP TAP TAP!

I whipped my head to face Jeff grinning, exposing the scars that gradually lengthened into his cheeks.

“NEVA WAKE UP AND COME OUT! IM DONE!” Jeff yelped at the top of lungs as if I couldn’t hear him. Idiot.

“Okay.”  I carefully pushed open the car door letting a brisk wind attack my face.

“Here…I found the blanket.” He draped the cozy hospital blanket over my shoulders. I motioned forward following as Jeff skipped towards his creation. I stopped dumbfounded as I glared at what Jeff did.

Oh…my…god…” I couldn’t wrap my head around what I saw…it was beautiful! There was stairs leading up to a wooden patio. Behind that, were several huge white blankets like tarps. From where I stood I saw that inside was carefully decorated with candles and an all white queen sized bed.

            “Jeff…how did you?”

“Well…I had the tarps from when me and Elijah…anyways the rest is a secret! Do you like it?” Jeff paused as he spoke of Eli…tears wanted to escape my eye sockets, but I held them back.

            “…its okay” I lied.

Anyone with a brain could see that this was a work of art or the gods. But I couldn’t care less. I walked up the stairs to the face the bed.  Why me? Jeff could have saved some other girl and they could have been here right now together…happy.  Instead all he has is some fucked up girl that’s useless.

“You okay?” Jeff startled me from my thoughts.

            “I’m okay.” I sat on the bed…till I realized…

“Jeff, there’s only one bed.” I stated confused.

“Yeah. I don’t sleep much anymore…its fine though, if you need me I’ll be sitting out there.”  I sat back silently as Jeff slouched himself onto the third step. My heart ached…
