Jeff’s P.O.V

Jeff’s Memory…

“Promise you won’t drop me!” Nevada yelped at the top of her lungs as she grasped my shoulders.

We had been walking along the top of this mountain near the mansion, when we got stopped by a giant cliff.

“Have I ever put your life in danger?” I answered back chuckling as she playfully bit the back of my neck.

“Do you really want an answer to that question?”

            “Just trust me okay?”

            “Okay.”

I hopped off the cliff with a screaming Nevada clutched onto my back. My feet slowly hit the dirt covered ground under us. I glared at her smiling; I loved the way she gently swayed past the willow trees. Her hair motioning towards her lips, how she pushed it away with one smooth swipe. She’s so perfect.

“You must really love it here huh?” I snapped out of my trance to her modulated voice.

“I guess, it’s kind of big…I can get lonely at times.” Stepping in front of her.,we were now face to face.

“Well…now you have me.” I caressed her hand into mine. It was humanly warm.

“Yeah. I do.” I smirked at her now puppy face.

“And I’m not going anywhere…I promise.” She leaned in and vigorously kissed my frozen lips.

End of Memory…

Where did it all go wrong Neva…?

I leaned into the porch window, staring at Nevada stuff her face with lucky charms. Her favorite. Greyson paced around the room with his hands folded in his pockets. It looked like they were having a deep conversation…Only; Nevada’s eyes seemed to be in another planet.

It’s my fault…But it’s for the best.

Nevada started speaking, her lips moving gracefully.

I just wish I could hear her voice one more time…

Greyson stuck up his middle finger at her and they both started chuckling. Enjoying their time alone…without me. My heart sunk.

It’s for the best Jeff. She’ll be happy.

I parachuted off the porch, crushing into the rose bushes.

            “Fuck!”

“What the hell are you doing idiot?” Frightened I stumbled upwards to see my boss. Slenderman.

“Slender? What are you doing here?” Confused I stood in amazement. Slenderman never left his palace for anything…unless it was for something extremely serious.

“You know why I am here Jeff. The world is in danger, I can’t have you sitting here drooling over some human female who can’t even learn how to control her gift on time. We need soldier’s Jeff. People to help you protect not only the innocents of Blackwood, but the whole universe.”

“I understand that, but you and I both know that Nevada is the strongest “soldier” on our side.” I firmly crossed my arms onto my chest.

“I sent you to her to train and protect her. Not to fall in love! This is slowing our process Jeff. I have a feeling that Jane’s getting closer to Blackwood, and when she gets her hands on anyone of us, we will be dead for.” Slender towered over my head, thin as a twig, but with a tone of voice that would alarmed anyone.

“Jane? But, slender we defeated her in the past, what’s the difference now?”

“I don’t exactly know but word has it that she has gained a subject to accompany her team. Someone who is just as powerful as her. That is why I need that boy in there…

Slender pointed his arm towards the window of the mansion at Greyson.

“With that being said, I don’t how you are going to, but you must bring Greyson to my palace and hide Nevada at all costs.”

“Wait…Why must I hide her?” I tilted my head forward.

“Will you ever grow out of this idiotic phase boy? Jane’s main purpose as to coming here is to receive her revenge. Don’t forget which one of us made the mistake with her death. Once she finds out about your infatuation with Nevada, which she will, she’ll instantly murder her. Understand?” I nodded in agreement as Slender gradually disappeared into the shadows.

It just never ends huh Jeff.

Where am I going to hide Nevada? I can’t have Jane lay a slimly finger on my Neva.

Ugh, I wish Elijah was still here, somehow, he would have known what to do.

Fuck me.
