I was still a little upset about the fact that Jason and Summer had neglected to tell the rest of us about what had happened with Evan, although I wasn't mad...not necessarily. I understood what it meant to go through something like that, and I know that people don't always FUCKING THINK STRAIGHT. Okay, maybe iI was a bit angry, but in an understanding kind of way, if that was even possible. But I was relieved when I woke up today to see that I had gotten a new text message from Jason, apparently I was the middle man. Anyways, it said that they would allow visitors to come and see Evan today from 9-12. I immediately told everyone else, so we all hurried to get ready. Not going to lie, we've all been staying in Evan's dorm for the past week. But I'm sure he won't care, not like he was using all of that extra space anyways.

By 8:30 we had all gotten ourselves put together and in the car. We were taking Alyssa's. When we got to the hospital we still had about 10 minutes to kill before tgey would let us in, so we all got coffee at the built in Dunkin Donuts. Which worked out well, because by the time we had all cycled through the line and been given our drinks it was time to get moving. We quickly scurried over to the front desk, signing all of us in and getting lanyards with visitor tags on them. We walked down a couple of hallways until we reached the recovery ward, finding Evan's room and without saying anything Alyssa kicked the door open like she was heading a military op.

"SURPRISE MOTHERFUCKER!!" She yelled into the room, pointing two finger guns into the room. But she stopped dead in her tracks when she saw that there was a doctor in there. A female lioness was checking on Evan's vitals and everything. But the doctor went along.

"Ahh don't shoot!" She sarcastically yelled, raising both of her paws in a surrender.

"Oh...I'm sorry." Alyssa nervously laughed.

"Don't worry about it, I completely understand. Anyways, you guys are all set to come see him, have fun. Don't. Touch. Anything. Beeping." She said, emphasizing that last bit and then she left. We all rushed in quickly,  wishing to see the friends we'd been deprived of for about a week now. Alyssa went straight over to Jason, backhanding him across the face...hard.

"Ow!" Jason chirped, rubbing his cheek. But Alyssa's mood swung around quickly, earning Jason a kiss on the other cheek.

"Do that again baby and I'll break your beak." She sang sweetly.

"Oh no thank you." He whined, still holding onto his face. But I rushed over to Evan, pulling him into a deep hug.

"You. Scared. The. Shit. Out of me." I mumbled, my voice also being muffled by my muzzle pressed into his shoulder. He rubbed my back.

"Sorry about that." He said. "By the way you're really hurting me right now." He grumbled. I leapt off of him.

"Oh my God I'm so sorry!" I yipped. He laughed a bit.

"Don't worry about it, just be careful." He warned. Before anyone else could say anything, a small knock came from the door. "Yes?" Evan called out. A rabbit poked her head in the door.

"It's your nurse hun, you've got another visitor waiting at the front desk saying that he would like to see you, should I send him in?" She asked.

"Did he give a name?" Evan asked back.

"Mhm, he gave us a first name, said he was Alex." She said. I couldn't help but notice that at the sound of Alex's name, Evan turned white as a sheet next to me. Something didn't feel right.

"Send him in." He said as politely as possible through gritted teeth.

Alex. The name stabbed me like a knife. The sharpest, pointiest, most fucking serrated knife ever imaginable. But I needed to see him. I needed to look him in the eye and embarass the shit out of him, right in front of everyone here. To make him feel absolutely awful. A few seconds passed before a one-welcomed all-too-familiar wolf slowly trotting into my hospital room, his ears flattened and tail far between his legs. A bundle of flowers were in his arms. He looked ashamed. Good. I thought. Quite honestly if I didn't know what he had done I would feel pity for him, but I don't. Jason remained silent, and Summer was physically agitated, clawing rapidly at her leg in anger.

"Jason?" I asked, changing the focus of my gaze to him.

"Hm?" He asked back.

"Because I'm a little bit preoccupied at the moment, could you do me a favor?" I asked. He didn't even need me to finish, he read my mind and turned to Alex. Walking up to him and socking him in the jaw, turning around, and walking back to his original position, resuming his silent hateful glare. Amy gasped in shock, still completelty unaware of what had happened. Alex just remained where he was, wincing and grabbing his jaw, but nt saying anything at all. Kind of like he knew that he deserved it.

"How. Fucking. Dare you." I said, looking into the once beautiful emerald green eyes. "How fucking dare you show up here, nevermind cheating on me?"

"Evan..." He started to say, clearly at a loss for words.

"Evan what?" I yelled, bearing no mind whatsoever to how loud I was being or how painful it was for me to do so. "Evan I'm sorry? Evan it won't happen again? How about Evan doesn't give a fuck what you want to say. What was I to you? Some side-game? A drunk dare? I bet you never fucking loved me in the first place, just when I thought I had gotten all of that out of my life!" I screamed.

"No! None of that's true! I loved-love you." He said quietly.

"And that's how you show it?! By fucking someone else? By ditching me high and dry when I needed you the most?!" Now tears were flowing freely and I didn't care. "Get out." I growled.

"Evan, I-I," He started again, but I cut him off--again.

"GET THE FUCK OUT OF MY LIFE!!" I screamed, picking up the necklace he had gotten for me off of my bedside table and throwing it at him, wiping some coughed up bloody mucus from my mouth as well. The thrown jewelery landed in his arms and he looked at it sadly, the dropped the bundle of flowers and turned around, running out the door...and crying. I turned over, feeling the pain but not caring in the slightest.

"Evan..." Amy said, resting a paw on my back. I flinched out at her touch.

"Get out...please...all of you."
