Dallas Augustus's POV
"He knows, doesn't he?" Blake asked with fear in his eyes. "Don't worry, he's not coming home. We have until morning to get this done," I told him with a smirk.
"He's going to kill us!" Blake panicked and I laughed at his mortified expression. "Baby, calm down please. Everything will be okay. Let's do this," I said with a soft smile.
"Are you sure?" He asked with concern. "Yes," I stated and walked over to Blake. He licked his lips and I smirked. "Ready?" I questioned. "Yes," he answered.
I smiled and jumped back, shooting him with my paint gun. He grunted and fired at me but missed, causing the paint to splatter against the wall.
I chuckled and ran to hide. "I'm going to get you!" He yelled and I held in my laughter. Footsteps approached and I jumped up, earning a shot to the forehead.
"Oh shit," I mumbled as I fell to floor. "That hurt." I grunted then laughed. "I'm sorry babe. I didn't think you would jump out like that," he said with an apologetic smile.
"It's okay," I told him. "Now, lets go destroy Kane's room!" I said excitedly. Fear flashed through his eyes again and I giggled. "Come on you big baby," I teased and he growled.
"Fine. Just know you're signing our death certificate," he mumbled and I smirked in victory.
Kane's POV
At the hotel...
"Adelina?" I questioned, turning around to look for her. "Shit," I mumbled. "Excuse me," I told the hotel worker, before I walked away. "Where the fuck are you?" I questioned out loud.
"Right here," Adelina said and I turned around. She stood to the side with a raised brow. I rolled my eyes and stalked towards her. "Why didn't you answer when I called your name?" I asked her.
"Because I went pee. I even said I was going pee, so don't start with me Kane. I'm in all this shit because of you," she growled and I scoffed.
"Fine. Whatever. I'm going get us a room," I told her before storming off. "One room please. Just for the night," I told the woman and slid her my credit card.
"Room 523. Have a good evening sir. Enjoy," she said as she slid the hotel key over to me along with my card. "Thank you. You too," I told her with a wink.
She blushed and I smirked. I turned around and found Adelina glaring at me. "Really?" She questioned before walking away in the direction of the elevators, clearly pissed off.
"What?" I asked with a frown when I caught up to her. "Are you serious?" She asked with a scoff. "You legit just flirted with her without realizing," she said with an eye roll. I scrunched my brows and frowned. Did I really? I asked myself.
Adelina's POV
I watched as he stood there, mentally arguing with himself. Even though I was mad at him, I couldn't help but laugh. He glared at me and I looked away, a ghost smile tugging at my lips.
"Baby?" He questioned and I rolled my eyes, not letting them meet his. "Adelina," he said in a gruff tone, one that let me know he was aggravated.
"What, Kane?" I asked in displeasure. "I'm sorry baby. I didn't mean to," He whispered remorsefully. "Fine. You're forgiven. Next time, I'm breaking noses," I informed him.
"I hear you loud and clear," he said in glee. "Don't mock me," I warned and he chuckled. "Come here," he said softly, pulling me into his embrace.
I succumbed to his touch and leaned my head on his shoulder. "Where's my food?" I questioned, remembering I clearly asked him to get me some.
"Um, I didn't stop. I came straight here," he mumbled and I snarled. "Why don't you listen? Are you trying to be murdered?" I asked in anger.
"First you don't get my food. Second, you flirt with that bitch. What's next?" I asked in annoyance.
"Adelina, don't. I'm not in the mood," he angrily spat. I removed myself from his embrace and scowled.
"What?" I questioned. "Can't handle the truth?" I asked in disbelief. "Whatever. You're sleeping on the couch if they have one," I mumbled.
The elevator finally dinged and I stepped through the opening doors. Turning around, I snatched the key card and proceeded to the room, leaving behind a furious Kane.
Kane's POV
"Shit, fuck, shit," I muttered, rubbing my hands over my face. I ran after her and stopped when I saw her leaning against the door.
She looked so tired and vulnerable. I finally had her and I was fucking it up. Why? And why did I feel my obsession for her subsiding?
As if she could read my mind, she looked up with tears in her eyes. She turned away quickly and slid the card in the door, opening it up.
She walked in and held the door open for me. I followed in after her, but she disappeared into the bathroom in a flash. I stared at the door, wondering what I should do.
Should I go in?
Should I leave?
Why was this relationship such a bumpy ride?
Thoughts swirled in my mind and I groaned in frustration. What the fuck was my problem? Adelina came out of the bathroom and sighed. She sat down besides me and frowned.
"What's going on with you Kane?" She questioned softly. "I don't know," I replied then got up and left the room, not bothering to look back at her.

So how mad do you think Kane will be when he gets home?
