Adelina Cortez's POV

"Oh my god," I groaned as Kane patted my back. "It'll be okay baby," he said in attempt to soothe me. The past couple months had flew by. We scheduled an appointment the day after he came home and found out I was already thirteen weeks pregnant.

We were able to find out the gender of the baby and let's just say I was more excited than him about having a girl.

"This is your fault. Take me back to the days where I could keep my favorite pizza down," I whined and he chuckled.

"It'll all be worth it baby. Just a few more months baby," he mumbled and I groaned again.

"Get me Dallas," I nearly growled and he backed away. "You're crazy woman," he mumbled but did as told.

Dallas walked in, nervous as can be. "Yes Adelina?" She asked and I chuckled. "Did you get in touch with Argentine?" I asked her and she nodded.

"Yeah. He said everything is set to go. How's next weekend?" She questioned and I smiled. "That sounds perfect!"

"Oh my god!" I nearly yelled. "I have to shop for a dress!" I said excitedly and slowly pulled myself up.

At five months pregnant I was poking out like a watermelon. Our daughter was completely to the front today.

I braced myself for the strong kick my daughter did and sighed. "I'm so ready to pop this child out," I mumbled, earning a giggle from Dallas.

"We have to stop at the bakery. I want some donuts," I told her and she nodded. "Do you want me to drive?" She questioned.

"Yes," I told her softly. "No!" Kane yelled and I giggled. "Come on Dal. He'll never know. You have your license now anyways. It's time you get some driving in.

On the way to the bakery, I kept feeling nervous. Like something big was going to happen. Either that or my child was kicking my insides.

"You okay?" Dallas asked and I shrugged. "I don't know. These hormones have me all over the place. I love your brother but sometimes I want to kill him," I mumbled.

"I feel you on that Lina. It'll be okay. Let's get your donuts," she said, parking the car. "I'll go in. I'm not nauseous anymore," I told her and climbed out of the car.

My child decided to have me being super extra today. I waddled the whole way to the door, earning a loud laugh from Dallas.

I turned around and glared, causing her to close her mouth quickly. I smirked and turned back around. "Here," a man said, holding open the door for me.

I looked up and smiled. "Thank you," I told him. He was at least 6'2 with golden blonde hair, and bright blue eyes. His voice was deep and it sent my hormones into over drive.

"Shit," I muttered and he smirked, as if he knew he affected me. "No problem darling. I'm Ethan," he said, smiling a gorgeous smile.

"Adelina," I whispered, blushing like a school girl. "I'm sorry, these hormones have me all over the place," I told him, stepping inside of the bakery.

He followed behind me, carrying on a conversation like we were close friends. For some reason I didn't mind.

"Would you like to have lunch with me?" He asked and I blushed. "Um, I'm actually engaged," I told him and he chuckled.

"That's unfortunate," he mumbled and scratched the back of his neck. "See you around then, beautiful." He walked out and I watched his retreating figure.

Dallas walked in with big eyes and a cheeky smile. "What was that about? He was H. O. T!" She exclaimed.

"Dallas! I'm pregnant with your brothers child and I'm engaged!" I said dramatically and she rolled her eyes.

"Honey, you my dear, were attracted to him. It's your hormones. It's okay," she said smiling. "I feel guilty," I mumbled and she laughed.

"Let's go hotshot. Even pregnant, you can pull a man," she said with a sigh. "Let me have your beauty."

"Oh hush. You're beautiful Dallas," I told her and she shrugged. "I guess." I shook my head and we climbed back into my car.

"Now where were we going?" I asked again and she laughed. "Oh my god. You have pregnancy brain bad!" I frowned and she patted my leg.

"We are going dress shopping, last minute might I add," she said and I gasped. "Oh my god! How could I forget!" I yelled and she shrugged.

"I don't know babes, but we need to get one fast. These few weeks will fly by," she said and I nodded.

"I know. I know. Let's get going!" I said excitedly and headed in the direction of the dress shop.

We walked in and the lady raised an eyebrow. "Can I help you?" She questioned wth attitude. "Yes," I said impatiently.

"I need a loose fitting dress. One that is still beautiful and elegant," I told her and she scoffed.

"Maybe you should try the plus size store," she said and I growled. "Bitch, you did not just call me fat. I am five months pregnant and I will rip your fucking tits off your chest," I told her angrily.

"Lina, calm down. It's not good for the baby. You heard what the doctor said. Don't get stressed out," Dallas warned and I did my best.

"This isn't over!" I threatened the woman and she smirked. "Kane is going to regret marrying a hoe like you," she spat and I snapped.

I marched up to her and punched her hard, knocking her to the ground. A pain shot through my side and I clutched it.

"Are you okay?!" Dallas asked, worriedly. "I'm fine. Just get me home," I mumbled. She helped me to the car, getting in the drivers seat to drive us home.

Not bad, right? Haha. I think I might become evil again. 🤭
