If you don't play violin, just pretend.

Wanted: Frank Iero theft, murder
Reward $1000

It was just like any other day here in town. People were minding their own business. Me and my friends Ana, and Grace were working our shifts at the saloon, washing glasses, serving beer, and watching people gamble their money and possessions away. The people who came to the saloon weren't very polite to me and my friends, but it was something we were used to.

I kept my eye on one certain man sitting in the corner keeping an eye on the drunkards. Gerard Way. The sheriff. Let me just say, he was one handsome man. He long dark hair, the beautiful hazel eyes I could get lost in, and the smirk. Oh gods, his smirk. He could kill a girl just by smirking. Cocky bastard. My daydreaming about him never stopped. He was just so- hot. Needless to say, I had a massive crush.

I've gotta stop. Get back to work.

I sighed deeply and dried off more glasses. Right as I was putting the last one down to be used again, said sheriff appeared in my line of vision, giving me that sexy smirk. I just kinda choked on my own spit.

"I saw you staring at me, little miss bartender." He leaned up against the counter seductively. "Like what you see?"

     "I-I- w-hat? I-no." I mentally face palmed.

"Ah, disappointing. Could've had a little fun later." He winked knowingly.

I felt my eyes widen. That pervert. "I have to work." I whispered turning away to find something else to do.

He chucked. "Don't ignore me, sweetheart. I know you-" he was cut off by a large blast. He was thrown over the counter and knocked unconscious. I looked up through the swinging doors to see him. Frank Iero. This was not going to end well.

I glanced at the unconscious Gerard and back up at Iero determined. I grabbed my violin and bow and went to face the challenger.

See, this wasn't a normal town where you'd fight with guns or fists. This was a town where you fought with music. Sound waves. Dancing. We weren't a normal town at all.

I approached Iero who had his guitar out playing a sick riff, and I mimicked the riff with my violin. He smirked at me as if to say; you won't win this one, girlie. I smirked back to say; oh yes I will.

As we battled it out with our instruments, Iero's goons came up behind him to help him out. Ana and Grace came to help me. As the beat raised, he let out a large sound wave on his guitar. I dodged and hit him with two of my own, and he fell over. His goons helped him up and they quickly left town, sneering at me.

I grinned. Me and my girls had won.

"Hey." I heard from above me. I was sitting in a booth in another bar.

Ana, Grace and I  had beaten Frank Iero in a music battle and were now hailed as  heroes. We were in newspapers all over the town. I had adopted the name 'renegade violinist'.

I looke up to see that perverted yet handsome sheriff smiling gently at me. "Can I sit with you? I just want to talk."

I merely shrugged. His smile grew and he slid into the booth beside me. "Listen, (y/n), I didn't mean what I was saying earlier. I-" he paused. "Ah screw it, I think you're really beautiful. I always have. Ever since I first saw you, I wanted to say something to you, but never had the guts. And- and when I saw you staring at me I felt so- I don't know- good? I guess that's it, I mean, knowing that you might love me back kinda sparked something. I really really didn't mean to be so perverted. I just-" he stopped himself. "Ah, I'm rambling. In short, I'm in love with you, (y/n). I always have been and I always will be."

My heart fluttered. He's in love with me? Of all people, me? "I- don't know what to say, Gerard." Lie. I did know what to say. I loved him too.

"It's okay if you don't feel the same." His face dropped. "I just had to get it off my chest. See you around I guess." He started to get up but I grabbed his hand.

"Wait! I-" he looked at me with hopeful eyes. "I've kinda always had a thing for you too."

He grinned. Oh wow. Talk about handsome. "C-can I kiss you?"

I but my lip and nodded. He scoop he'd closer to me and cupped my cheek about to kiss me. Oh here it comes. I'm about to kiss my longtime crush.

"He's back!" Someone shouted making Gerard jump away from me. Oh come on. "Frank Iero is back!"

"I thought he'd learned not to come back here." I growled. Gerard smirked at me.

"Go get him, love."

The girls and I exited the bar sassily, ready to fight. I had my trusty violin ready to go, but what we saw put us in shock. He had a massive speaker. Oh no.

Iero's goons smiled sinister smiles and turned the speaker on, revving it up. I got ready to play my violin, but was blasted back onto the wall. In a world of pain, I attempted to look up. Iero was headed toward the bank, and one of his followers stole my violin. Oh, they're in for it now. Out of the corner of my eye I saw Gerard, watching with terrified eyes. Don't just stand there, idiot, do something.

I pulled my goggles on to protect my eyes from sand, grabbed my bow,  and crawled towards the remote. I successfully turned the ginormous thing off, and bolted towards the bank where Iero was headed. I swung my bow and aimed it at his followers. They mocked me, and while they were distracted, Ana snatched my violin and tossed it to me.

I caught it, luckily. And as soon as I started playing thing 1 and thing 2 were trying to get it back. Thing 1 grabbed me from behind lifting me up, and thing two tried to throw a punch. I pushed thing 2 away with my foot and forced myself out of thing 1's grip. Grace and Ana joined me in the fight, as did Gerard. They pushed both things towards Iero, and wheeled the speaker over to where they were standing. The girls stole the headphones to protect their ears, and the button was pressed by Gerard. Iero was blasted back by of my violins sound waves. I smiled at them.

Iero was caught. We'd won again.

In my excitement, I'd dropped my violin and ran to Gerard. He caught me and spun me around grinning like an idiot.  We stared into each other's eyes, and in a flash, our lips connected. My heart sped up. It was perfect. Several 'whoops' and 'yeah!s' were heard around us and I smiled. We pulled away from each other and he put me down.

"I love you." He rested his forehead on mine.

I grinned and giggled. "I love you too."

Wow. This was terrible. Yikes.
